Images
[edit]I see you're having a spot of trouble with them. They can be tricky - I'm only just managing to get my head around them after 3 years! You need to take a look carefully at the code and, particularly, the thumb and right (or left) aspects. These can help to make images much more effective.
There's probably a good argument for keeping the image thats currently on the grilling page where it is by the way. It's, arguably, a bit more interesting and diverse than just one of some steak. What I'd argue the page could use, actually, is some other types of grilling images - say a salamander. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:48, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Blue Square Thing, you are wasting your time. This user has already violated the 3RR. mauchoeagle (c) 20:52, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'll cut him a break unless you're recognising a longer term editing pattern - he only registered today. Blue Square Thing (talk) 21:01, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'll surely cut him a break. My sincere apologies. I was forgetting the dont bite the newbies clause. mauchoeagle (c) 21:02, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

- Cool - I do appreciate the difficulty with longer term patterns mind. I think he can get the hang of things with a bit of time. Blue Square Thing (talk) 21:17, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
3RR warning
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Grilling. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. – Athaenara ✉ 21:04, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
