Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Gayathrikarthika. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Thjarkur (talk) 18:30, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have an obvious conflict of interest regarding this film, please don't directly edit this article, instead propose changes on the article's talk page using {{request edit}}. – Thjarkur (talk) 18:45, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

World's First Sanskrit children's Filim Madhurasmitham. Directed by Sureshgayathri. Please added. Gayathrikarthika (talk) 09:02, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Madhurasmitham has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This appears to be a YouTube video, and not notable at all. None of the verifiable references mentions this film, and one of them is completely unrelated to the topic. Searches have produced only a small number of unreliable sources, such as wikis and YouTube.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Madhurasmitham requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -Nahal(T) 01:49, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Madhurasmitham moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Madhurasmitham, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Thjarkur (talk) 02:33, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please stop trying to push this Madhurasmitham film here? Wikipedia is not the right place for promotion, and it has not been demonstrated that this film exists. Please use {{request edit}} to suggest edits on the Sanskrit Cinema article's talk page.

Gayathrikarthika, please stop promoting your film. There is no indication that it is a feature film, it has zero coverage apart from one or two press-releases, and it is not listed in any film databases. You have so far done nothing on Wikipedia apart from adding mentions of this film. We only include notable entries in Wikipedia. Apart from the WP:COI guidelines, please see bold-revert-discuss. – Thjarkur (talk) 22:19, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
