New footballer articles

[edit]

Hello. I've noticed you created several new articles about Bulgarian footballers. While I appreciate your efforts to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Bulgarian football, please make sure you follow the policies on verifiability and notability. I expect that you are using a source (such as playerhistory.com, pfl.bg or football24.bg) to get the data to create the articles, so please add that source as a reference in the article. Please let me know if you need help. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 04:14, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Vais Kyosev. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Eeekster (talk) 10:35, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Krasimir Durchov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. General Note

[edit]

Hi there. Thank you for all your football article contributions. As I'm sure you've noticed from the deluge of notices, we do like to have articles sourced whenever possible, especially if they concern living people. I noticed you included a reference link for some of your articles (such as the ones on Stanimir Mitev and Teodor Skorchev). Please do try and include references on all your articles. If you need help to figure out how to do that (or how to properly format the references), you can check our instructions on citation, or just ask someone. (If you type {{helpme}} on your page, someone will show up to answer your question.

Also, just so you're aware, this topic was recently brought up on the administrator's noticeboard. You're welcome to participate in that discussion if you wish. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 18:11, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Gandev88! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 45 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Hi there. Please stop creating new footballer articles for now and read our notability guidelines for sportspeople. Footballers who have not represented their country, or who have not made an appearance in a fully professional league, are not notable under Wikipedia guidelines. This means players playing under the first division of Bulgarian football are not notable, and these articles may be deleted. They will only become notable if they represent Bulgaria (or their national team), or play a match in the A league. Strange Passerby (talk) 06:35, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Milen Tonev has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yordan Hristov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defender (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on Edis Seliminski requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notice

The article FC Dve Mogili has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Amateur regional soccer/football with no secondary coverage meeting WP:NORG. Stadium is 800 seats, which is very small.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
