Apparent Vandalism of the Page
[edit]Good afternoon, It is quite clear that the article has essentially been vandalized from the original post. There are multiple fallacious claims in the new article. For example, it states that a co-founder of NCCM was associated as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case. Every link that is assoicated to simply does not link back to the suggested assertion, with the exception of Tom Quiggin - who was found to have spread defamatory content in relation to this issue: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/islamic-relief-muslim-charity-canada-terror-1.6870177 The article now has essentially an extremely biased core thesis: that NCCM supports Hamas, and did not condemn Hamas after October 7. This is simply categorically false, as can clearly be seen here: https://x.com/nccm/status/1711459194597970419?s=46&t=Epn9DhxSOy3w6LpH0_VpOQ https://x.com/nccm/status/1766326939529441617?s=46&t=Epn9DhxSOy3w6LpH0_VpOQ And dozens more too numerous to count. From an editorial perspective, it seems quite clear that the article has simply been re-written with an attempt to smear the reputation of NCCM, without much regard to actually linking to fact. It also seems that the editor believed that UNRWA funding should not have been restored. That is a fair argument to make, but the writing is highly biased and not-sourced. Given all of this, the page should be restored to its pre-existing state. 2001:56A:F402:E400:F452:CB53:DEF9:15CD (talk) 21:55, 30 April 2024 (UTC) 2001:56A:F402:E400:F452:CB53:DEF9:15CD (talk) 22:16, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- There is ongoing POV vandalism to the NCCM article by user "Chichifat". Please assist in stopping this because it violates the NPOV requirements based on objective sources. Ottawacan (talk) 06:12, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- This user engaged in further vandalism yesterday again. 104.129.158.229 (talk) 10:20, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Please state clearly which parts specifically you take objection to. Your edits can very well be deemed as vandalism for being too pro-NCCM if you were to deem mine as being too pro-Israel.
- Please justify your objections with sources and I will make edits myself. Chichifat (talk) 04:17, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- Your edits are textbook NPOV violations and you can't justify any of them. Take it to the Talk Page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:National_Council_of_Canadian_Muslims), and try to justify ANY of your attempted edits that first began on April 16, 2024 before trying to vandalize the page again. Oxford Mail
[edit]Sheesh. The source is already cited. It's the Audit Bureau of Circulations, which is the authority for print circulation in the UK. Source 1 on the page. They update their data every six months. The figure previously stated on the article was out of date, it's now up to date and in keeping with the source. Please undo your revert, and take a few seconds to check things before being quite so trigger-happy with the revert button in future. 83.151.202.178 (talk) 13:12, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- For the future I recommend you to indicate the source and not to create a confusion. Thanks! GalianoP3 (talk) 13:17, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- The. Source. Was. Already. Indicated.
- Thanks for your apology in being the sort of editor who drives people away from Wikipedia. 83.151.202.178 (talk) 13:20, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Please don't be so arrogant, and in future use the source directly in your comment. Good luck! GalianoP3 (talk) 13:29, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
