Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Galefuun, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to 7 Years (Lukas Graham song) have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 22:01, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Spaghetti. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Takeaway (talk) 17:29, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Spaghetti, you may be blocked from editing. - Takeaway (talk) 18:58, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Category:Meme. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia — and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. - Takeaway (talk) 19:08, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Pokémon X and Y. Bailo26 14:52, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Noah's Notes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Noah's Notes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Speedy deletion nomination of Noah's Notes
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Noah's Notes, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". You have a template on this article stating that this is a draft, but you didn't create it in the draft space... would you like me to move this article into the draft space for you? ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:20, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
List of Noah's Notes characters moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, List of Noah's Notes characters, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 00:04, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm TheFarix. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Rainbow Sentai Robin, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Non-free files
[edit]As you asked at CommonsDelinker, let me explain this.
You can upload non-free files to the English Wikipedia (here), but you must provide a rationale to keep the non-free media file, and the file must be used at an article. The Upload wizard will help you, but if you still have doubts about uploading non-free files, you may ask at the Village Pump. Also, for logos, you may read about the Threshold of originality; this means you can upload simple logos to Commons (the japanese ruling is near the same as the US. one). --Amitie 10g (talk) 02:21, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]- Regarding this, I cant see any other explanation other than you trying to create a hoax, as the source doesn’t support your statement, nor has anything close to what you wrote ever been announced. Wikipedia is not the place for you to create hoaxes. If this happens again, your account will be blocked. Sergecross73 msg me 23:52, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Serge, an Admin here on Wikipedia. While I appreciate that you use edit summaries, they should be constructive. This edit summary, where you other editors "nerds", falls a bit short in that regard. Wikipedia doesn't allow for name calling, so please stop that.
On a semi-related note, if you need help learning what sorts of sources are usable, please check out WP:VG/S.

Verbal ASE moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Verbal ASE. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 06:45, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Verbal ASE, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source.
