Nomination for deletion of Template:U.S. space program sidebar
[edit]Template:U.S. space program sidebar has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. -- Beland (talk) 22:04, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Template:U.S. space program sidebar
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:U.S. space program sidebar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
Cumprimentos, RodRabelo7 (talk) 18:35, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. When creating or editing political articles, whatever the version, always keep neutrality in mind — even with the truth of the facts. And it is clear between the lines the omission of events that do not fit into opposition disinformation, however, almost "intentionally" omitted. Gabriel bier 03:06, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
- Onde deixei de lado a neutralidade, poderia me informar? Que evento omiti? Baseei-me unicamente nas fontes que encontrei; se porventura me esqueci de alguma de relevo, sinta-se livre para indicar e acrescentá-la você mesmo ao artigo (ou eu adiciono, que seja!). Estamos num projeto colaborativo, after all. Mas prefere, pelo que vejo, chutar cachorro morto. Interessante. RodRabelo7 (talk) 06:16, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
- I have already made such adjustments, in which I intentionally limited myself to editing in this type of theme in depth and in a wiki version different from the Portuguese one. The intent is to curb misinterpretations by political activists (I'm not including you on this list), so they don't spread to other versions of the wiki because of the editorial view of just one editor. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Hi Gabriel bier, sorry! I normally provide this explanation to those whose edits in this area I have undone because of the "500 edits" restriction mentioned above. It also applies to deletion discussions (AfD) such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shani Louk if they are related to the topic (this one clearly is), and to requested move discussions (RMs), to requests for comments (RfCs), discussions internal to the project. See WP:ARBECR and WP:A/I/PIA for details. Best regards, ~ ToBeFree (talk) 06:50, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
