Famousbirthdays.com as a source
[edit]Hi Gabi.labuschagne. I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. Similarly, IMDB is not reliable for most biographical information. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 00:11, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi Gabi,
I looked over the changes you made to my submission and I don't really like the changes. Thanks for trying to help, but I think I will redo the submission with a lot of changes eliminating much of the material that doesn't cite the source.. Please don't make changes to my submission without contacting me before hand with your suggestions. DEHenry33 (talk) 00:12, 4 November 2017 (UTC) |

Hi there Gabi.labuschagne, I just had a look at the above article. In the "References" section, there is a list containing several websites. As per Lacypaperclip's comments above, Wikipedia requires significant coverage of a subject, not just mere mentions. Have a look at the final reference, for example. It's an interview with Jenn McAllister; Cameron Moulene gets a single mention in the article, mentioning he's a co-star in Foursome. That article does not demonstrate that Cameron Moulene is notable; it might demonstrate that Jenn McAllister is notable, because she was interviewed by AOL.com. Similarly, links such as this one and this one doesn't really tell us much more than "he's an actor". Several other websites are about television series (such as Foursome), and just mention that he's an actor in the series. None of those demonstrate that he's notable. Can you do a bit of a cleanup on that article to remove links that just mention him in passing, and add in ones (from reliable sources) where he is the main subject? I had a quick look, and unfortunately couldn't find many... TheMightyPeanut (talk) 05:38, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
