You fixed the war result and u did not provide any source to prove it.
+Because u changed the result of war content. So i just change it back to the old one and that does not relate to the edit conflict.

So did you provide any relevant source?i have a right to fix and edit it.I use talk page and u gonna give feedback next month . I cannot wait too long like that.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Rurouni Kenshin Live Action poster.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rurouni Kenshin Live Action poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:22, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:DeathBattle logo.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:DeathBattle logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:33, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contributions to Doc Holliday, and others

[edit]

Thanks for your many contributions to several western articles including Doc Holliday, Earp Vendetta Ride, and others. However, please make sure your edits are actually contributing new information, are based on sources, and are not merely your effort to bring your style to the content. For example, you added this paragraph to American Frontier:

"Films and literature popularized the Old West of being filled with countless of duels and showdowns. Although these Wild West duels did happen in real life, it rarely happen such as the Wild Bill Hickok – Davis Tutt shootout and Luke Short-Jim Courtright Duel."

But it is unsourced, awkwardly phrased, and in stilted English. You also often mix past and present tense, as in this edit to the same article

"...gunfights do occur..."

Please make sure your sources actually support the facts they are attached to, as in this example, where the page cited does not support the facts presented:

" This is due to the fact that gunfights, crime, and other violent activities were largely undocumented, as many of the settlements in the American frontier had little ways to record their everyday happenings.<ref name="History Channel Gunslingers">[http://shop.history.com/tales-of-the-gun-gunslingers-dvd/detail.php?p=68419 Tales of the Gun: Gunslingers]</ref>"

If the facts you cite are presented in the documentary, then you should use the correct citation to refer to the documentary itself and not the web page.

Hope this helps. Thanks for all your contributions to Wikipedia! — btphelps (talk to me) (what I've done) 23:44, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

American Old West history image files subject to deletion

[edit]

The file File:WellsSpicer.JPG has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or `disputed. An editor believes that because the photo taken before 1885 does not have an author or an initial publication date, it should be removed. This is true of many, many Old West images about events and individuals. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it and many others like it related to Old West history may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. If you want to help retain images like this, you are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion. A tag has been placed on Category:Ancient hitman groups requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

I looked up the initial members that you had put into the category. Ninja was removed years ago by user:SNAAAAKE!! without explanation.[1] Hatchet man was removed as it was an inappropriate category for a disambiguation page. Assassins was removed recently by user:Alcherin as "not ancient", and Sicarii as "not paid by another party".

Notice

The article Venus of the Hardsell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (songs) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Paranaqueshootout.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Paranaqueshootout.png.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jumpytoo Talk 02:25, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:10gunslingers.jpg. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. An administrator will review this file within a few days, and having considered the opinions placed on the image page, may delete it in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion or remove the tag entirely. Replaceable non-free use File:Louis Bulaong.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Louis Bulaong.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 20:13, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
