[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Monica Mancini has been reverted.
Your edit here to Monica Mancini was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.last.fm/music/Monica+Mancini/_/Senza+Fine+from+Ghost+Ship) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:24, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Principius band
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Principius band requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Longhair\talk 22:15, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

- @Bearcat Hello
- Thanks for your review.
- Please can you give some advice for write a much better article.
- This text have more of 5 reference and its large.
- Best regards
- George GEORGEB1989 (talk) 14:17, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- Firstly, you have to understand the difference between a good reference and a bad reference. Acceptable referencing is not just "any web page you can find that technically verifies a fact" — acceptable referencing is "third party coverage about the topic in real media". For example, a YouTube clip is not an acceptable reference, a press release distribution platform is not an acceptable reference, blogs are not acceptable references, IMDb and Letterboxd are not acceptable references, and on and so forth: acceptable, GNG-worthy referencing means real media (real newspapers, real film magazines, etc.) writing about the film journalistically. It's not the number of footnotes an article has that determines whether it's acceptable or not, it's the journalistic quality and analytical reliability of the footnotes that determines whether it's acceptable or not. Bearcat (talk) 14:21, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Bearcat Good morning
- First of all thanks for your kindley answer.
- I understand but what its a reliable source. In the web have a lot of cinema sites. Wikipedia have a specificate list of source in cinema articles?
- For example the article of Die Hard 5 have several reference something important like sitess of Cinemablend, coolider, deadline and anothers that more smaller cites.
- How time have to rewrite the article before was delate? GEORGEB1989 (talk) 14:42, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of The Serpent (2021 film)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Serpent (2021 film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —siroχo 22:13, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

- Hi @GEORGEB1989. I tagged this new version for speedy deletion due to the outcome of the recent AfD discussion, which was to move it to draft space. You can find the previous iteration at Draft:The Serpent (2020 film). The above discussion raised some issues, please take some time to address those, and then per the closing statement in the discussion, I would use the WP:Articles for creation process as the path to move it back out of draft. —siroχo 15:57, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

The Serpent
[edit]As I already explained to you above just a bit more than a month ago, you need to familiarize yourself with what counts as reliable sourcing for the purposes of establishing notability. It's not the number of footnotes that an article has that makes the difference between a good article and a bad one, it's the quality of the footnotes that an article has that makes the difference.
We need to see journalism in real media: film reviews by professional film critics in real media, production coverage by arts journalists in real media, that sort of thing. You can't rely on blogs, you can't rely on interviews in which people who were directly involved in making the film are talking about themselves in the first person, you cannot rely on IMDb or Letterboxd, you cannot rely on press releases self-published by the film's own producers — we need to see proper coverage about the film in real media. RogerEbert.com is a start down the right path, but it isn't enough all by itself — we need to see at least three or four sources of that calibre before the film's article could be reconsidered, not just one, and using one good source while otherwise smothering the rest of the article in poor quality sources isn't the solution. Bearcat (talk) 15:48, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- Good afternoon
- But not all the movies are cover by big new sites, this its a small movie and the main information its located in other medias. as others. Im Venezuelan and several movies from my country never have the budget or the cover media as American indepent circuit; and this movie are located in wikipedia.
- This its a example
- Little Thieves, Big Thieves
- About the journalism, yes ,coud be much better; but the article have the wikipedia wikification , by sectors
- Best regards
- George Barahona GEORGEB1989 (talk) 16:28, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- It's not Wikipedia's goal, mandate or job to have an article about every movie that exists, it's our goal, mandate and job to have articles about movies that pass our notability criteria, and to not have articles about movies that don't. So if you're having trouble finding the necessary quality of sourcing needed to get a film into Wikipedia, the question that needs to be answered isn't "why won't Wikipedia accept a lower quality of sourcing here?" — the question that needs to be answered is "why does the film need to have a Wikipedia article at all, if it just doesn't have the type of coverage needed to establish that it's notable in the first place?" The article Kingdom Of Judas (Romanian film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article Ivana Trišić has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails to meet criterion of WP:NACTOR, "The person has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions; or the person has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment." I don't think "Soup line person", "model", "person in bar" meet the requirement even if the sources are impeccable, and they aren't that either.

- So, you removed the PROD with a one-word edit summary "update", but you did not change it at all. Were you planning to improve it? ☆ Bri (talk) 22:21, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
