[edit]Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Stratford Academy. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to First Presbyterian Day School, will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. John from Idegon (talk) 02:14, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to Stratford Academy, will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You already knew this change is opposed. Yet you made it anyway. You posted a well thought out argument 2 days ago on the talk page (which is also 2 days before a major holiday). You must give people a chance to respond. You still lack consensus to make this change. John from Idegon (talk) 16:20, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- FYI, I removed your message at my talk because for some unfathomable reason, you stuck it in between two existing topics. New threads go at the bottom. Anyway, content disputes should be discussed on the article talk page. That's so everyone interested in that article will see it and can participate. I've responded there. Also, remember we are all volunteers. Patience is required. Your messages may not be responded to promptly. See WP:NODEADLINE. John from Idegon (talk) 18:03, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
Stratford Academy and First Presbyterian Day School
[edit]Hey, I noticed you made attempts to edit Stratford Academy and First Presbyterian Day School, but have received a number of rude comments from an experienced user, and stopped editing soon after. If you happen to see this, please don't get discouraged. I have checked your edits, and I will say they generally seem to be misguided, but I would hate for you to be turned off from Wikipedia editing by blatantly rude and passive-aggressive comments, and the block threats are, in my opinion, extremely impatient and completely uncalled for. The person that you have interacted with, John from Idegon, has been indefinitely banned due to his behavior, so do not worry about possible uncomfortable confrontation you may experience while editing; Wikipedia editors are generally helpful and constructive.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me. I will also be following the high school pages I have mentioned to ensure nothing goes in the wrong direction. Happy editing! :) The GEICO gecko (talk) 09:24, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
