Re: Edits on Kenshi (video game)
[edit]Hello! Thank you for posting in my userpage so that we may discuss the Kenshi article :) i noticed your effort put into it, and i agree it can be hard to improve articles on video games without stepping outside the guidelines. I edited the article again to add mention that there are different species and factions to recruit from, in a way that complies with the current Wikipedia guidelines, so i suggest you compare the latest revision with the older one to get a feel for how to add things like this. The idea of adding more information about game worlds is interesting, but ultimately as an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is less concerned about archiving all types of information and more concerned with the real-life aspects of media products, unless these fictional things are so significant that a good amount of sources have been written about them (in Kenshi's case, articles about it really stress how the game world is a harsh place that does not set the player out as a chosen-one character, and that's already in the article, so not much else can be added based on these sources. Ultimately, i think there's room for debate on wether such types of information should or shouldn't be cut from Wikipedia, but until someone starts formal discussions about it on the Video Games Wikiproject, articles can't really deviate from the current rules.
As for the "not a game wiki" message i added to the edit summary, i meant nothing bad from it, just to clarify why the edit was reverted, because personally i think reverts that just use the automatically-generated reversion message can be pretty frustrating for not letting people know what they did that needed change.
And as for the article quality, there really isn't anything wrong with it. Personally i think it already qualifies at least for an upgrade to B-category (it's currently C). I've asked for a re-evaluation in its talk page, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Pete Hines and a fox
[edit]Hi FunnyWick. I noticed your edit to the article about "Pete Hines". I suppose that you think that this a funny Tweet that might amuse readers. That's fine for Twitter, but not really appropriate for a serious encyclopedia like Wikipedia. I have deleted the edit. Best wishes. Axl ¤ [Talk] 10:16, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
