User talk:FunLater
Welcome, FunLater!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, FunLater! I'm Royal Autumn Crest, and I've been assigned as your mentor. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.
You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.
If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.
Again, welcome to Wikipedia! Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 19:13, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

July 2023
[edit]Hi FunLater! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Threads (social network) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

DYK for Languages of Lebanon
[edit]On 11 January 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Languages of Lebanon, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that code-switching in Lebanon is so common that "hi, كيفك؟ Ça va ?", which combines English, Levantine Arabic and French, is a typical greeting? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Languages of Lebanon. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Languages of Lebanon), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
