Hello, Dthomsen8,

Thank you for your kind wellcome message and helpful information. I certainly would like to stay and work here like the tr.wikipedia. Actually, I prepared a study, a biography article of the actor Burak Davutoğlu, who is one of the lead actors in Betrayal play I'd told about. But something is going wrong with it. It has been in the Articles for deletion/Burak Davutoğlu If you would like to view and share your opinion here, I'll be happy. (Also I wrote a long answer there)

Again thanks,

Regards,

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Biloxi Blues, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:14, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Istanbul City Theatres requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ibb.gov.tr/sites/sehirtiyatrolari/tr-TR/Sayfalar/Tarihce.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Blocked for sockpuppetry

Frock~trwiki (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Hi, I’m a Wikipedia tr. user for 10 years. I don’t have any more Wikipedia account except Frock~trwiki.

Last month, I have prepared two articles for English Wikipedia, then my account has been blocked indefinitely by showing the reason having multiple accounts at Articles for deletion/Burak Davutoğlu page. Up to now, this is the first time I’m in such a situation. You can investigate my contributions to the Wikipedia tr. here: I’ve prepared comprehensive articles by myself, that one them them (Kerbela(oyun) ) was chosen as the article of the day at the main page.

I would like to be unblocked. Because I guess this is the reason of misunderstanding;

Firstly, when I prepared the article Burak Davutoğlu, I just shared the article in social media in a good faith to show people. (I always do in Turkish ones for 10 years). (For example a screenshot one of them before: http://dosya.co/jik7u7wre109/forwk.jpg.html, also you can find history share at this Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/ucretsizetkinliklerrehberi) It's just sharing the information to reach more people. (But I didn't want anyone for voting "keep" ever) (imagine) If I have a Facebook group together with my account over the 50.000 people, If I share the the page there, That people can view and comment. And I don't think they are Wikipedia users or active users. They're just Facebook users. When they saw post, they just viewed for this page. If it’s a inappropriate behavior, I need to know.

My purpose is just contributing for Wikipedia, especially at the subjects like art, theatre actor and actresses sth. else. For example I also prepared the article Istanbul City Theatres.

And I’m sorry also for the users whom accounts are blocked because of me, unintentionally.

I request unblock my account. Because;

The users ; SPEEDY85 and İnancoskay (and the other IPs voted) are not me. When I was trying to prove it before too, I’d left notes that users and they confirmed themselves. And I'd sait that you can delete unuitable votings if you want.

If you would like to see my old notes with details (now they are deleted) that I’d try to explain the situation before. You can look these links:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/SPEEDY85&diff=773805065&oldid=773777436

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:%C4%B0nancoskay

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Burak_Davuto%C4%9Flu&diff=773571581&oldid=773547964

And if you have questions about it, I can answer more.

I request your help,

Regards,

Frock~trwiki (talk) 12:59, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is a WP:Checkuser block. Checkuser confirms that your account and İnancoskay are operated from the same place. You have to explain that. If you think this is a mistake, your only option is to appeal to the WP:Arbcom. Vanjagenije (talk) 07:53, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Sorry to disturb @Vanjagenije:, because of the block, I could't write on the talk page, I didn't know here is ok. I sent mail to the most of users at WP:Arbcom but got no reply. Maybe I should mention them here too to see.

Frock~trwiki (talk) 14:16, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ah no @Vanjagenije: . I saw just users. Now I'm sending immediately. I'm really novice, I can't run just one account properly, how they think I can use multi accounts I don't know :) Thanks a lot!

Frock~trwiki (talk) 14:22, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi, @Vanjagenije: , I bother you again, but 2 days ago, I received an authomatic mail like "Your mail to 'ArbCom-l' is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval. The reason it is being held: Post by non-member to a members-only list. Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to cancel this posting, please visit the following URL:" (an url is here) (I didn't cancel)

So, I could't know what's the result? I didn't receive anymore mail. Does it mean they have received my mail and they will reply of the moderator's decision? Request your opinion, thanks, Frock~trwiki (talk) 09:46, 17 April 2017 (UTC) 12:45, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You will be notified about the result, but you have to wait, Vanjagenije (talk) 11:32, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Frock~trwiki (talk) 19:23, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I sent an e-mail to the Arbcom asking what happened. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:37, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

Apologies for the delay in responding to your message. Following a successful appeal to arbcom, your account has been unblocked. The original block appears to be valid, but you have been unblocked with the expectation that this problem will not recur. Since you primarily edit another project, please carefully review our local policies on sockpuppetry, meatpuppetry (that is, recruiting others to participate in discussions), and canvassing. In addition, given the article at the origin of this situation, you may wish to review local notability criteria for biographies. You will also receive a copy of this message by email. Opabinia regalis (talk) 20:18, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I realy need to trust Wikipedia. Everythink was out of my control. I think, my mistake was sharing the page. But unfortunately I need to say for the page voters, critic is easier than investigation and contribute, and it sometimes is not fare. It's said I was blocked for sock puppetry, because the users SPEEDY85 and İnancoskay seem as same users with me. But they werent, they arent. So, now... if it's clear and understood. (In fact I didn't understand why the original block appears to be valid in my page but..) These users won't be unblocked too? Because I feel sorry for them too. Thanks, Frock~trwiki (talk) 12:42, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The other users should request an unblock themselves. Again, please read the policies I linked; it's considered highly inappropriate to recruit discussion participants, or to participate specifically because you were recruited. Opabinia regalis (talk) 05:04, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Opabinia regalis: You know, last month, Turkish government blocked the all languages of Wikipedia for us. Some of us can connect with some special apps or settings anymore. So, I don't think these users can do it too until opening again.. Aynway, everything is getting harder for all of us in the world. I hope will be better in the future. I'll try to do my best everytime. Thanks for your help and information. Frock~trwiki (talk) 11:58, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment 2: Now I tried to edit a page and I saw I was still blocked (When I looked before it was unblocked, but now it seems again bloced "The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be a web host provider. To prevent abuse, web hosts may be blocked from editing Wikipedia." I need your help unfortunately :( @Opabinia regalis: Frock~trwiki (talk) 12:07, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

On the first point, the other editors can send an email to arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org without the need to log in to Wikipedia.
On the second point, can you double-check that you are logged in when you're trying to edit other pages? The IP range is blocked, but only for anonymous editors; you should be able to edit after logging in. Opabinia regalis (talk) 18:33, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
