soapy bob

hello, Friday

i see that my entry for the soapy bob was deleted nearly immediately,

i need to see if i can get it back, so that it can be amended...i intend to reference it on the "dirty sanchez" page, once it is properly developed

Honestly, the best place I can think of, for this content, is urbandictionary.com. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to try to coin new terms. Here, we require sources and whatnot- Wikipedia is never going to be the FIRST place a new concept gets covered. We lag behind other sources, on purpose. Friday (talk) 21:34, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

ahh, en lies the confusion...this is not a creation of said term, it is an explanation of a verbal reference from a film (which was to be added to the entry once i could create a complete bibliography/cite) that refers to the "soapy bob" but never goes on to explain what it is. much like the "Alabama squeeze box" from "Rango", johny depp's character does not explain the backstory of the term. , and the urbandictionary entry is already submitted and waiting for approval (once the quote is confirmed) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.234.176.55 (talk) 00:46, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Sure thing, you can tag them for immediate deletion, see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion for details. There is also Wikipedia:Proposed deletion which is in between the other two options. Friday (talk) 19:36, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
