[edit]Hello! I've seen your works on articles related to Luis Miguel. I'd like you to take a look on the article Romances as I've made major expansions over the past few months. Thank you. Magiciandude (talk) 17:47, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Sources for certifications
[edit]I've noticed several additions you made regarding Spanish certifications. You seem to be using this page as source. The source itself states its sources to be a forum post here and a second forum post on ukmix which I can't even list directly, since it's on Wikipedia's black list. All in all, these do not seem to me to be very reliable sources. Can you please comment on this? --Muhandes (talk) 10:40, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Mexico En La Piel Tour. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. By now you should be familiar with the requirement for sources. Please stop introducing unsourced material. And please use the edit summary. Muhandes (talk) 11:23, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Mexico En La Piel Tour. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Aries Tour
[edit]The article Aries Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable concert tour fails both WP:GNG and WP:CONCERT TOUR that has been been unreferenced since it was created two years ago and tagged as such for over a year.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Aspects (talk) 23:50, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

México por Siempre Tour
[edit]El billboard Boxscore es desconfiable hasta cierto punto. Te voy a poner varios ejemplos:

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luis Miguel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American Music Awards of 2003 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Romance Tour moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Romance Tour, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. América & en Vivo
[edit]Thanks for correcting the date of Luis Miguel's show at the National Auditorium, but don't remove information from the article. Just change the source (don't use the Instagram source) like I did a while ago. The date of the concert is vital for readers who are not familiar with the album. Thank you. - As for tour articles, I've never worked on before, so I have no experience. My suggestion is to look at GA-Class concert articles and FA-Class concert articles as examples on how to make a good article about one. Good luck. Erick (talk) 00:52, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I've seen your talk page on WikiCommons and just want to let you know that images you find on the Internet are not allowed on WikiCommons unless the author of the image gives permission to use it for public domain. Only images you own yourself can be uploaded there. I can't use the image you added on the Amarte Es un Placer article either because non-free images of living people aren't allowed and it require a rationale as to why it's needed. - @Franlm14: Oh okay, gotcha, I wasn't sure. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. In that case, I reverted my edit to add the image. If you can, go to WikiCommons to edit the description to include the date and location of where the photo was taken. It was the concert at the Estadio Cartagonova, correct? By the way, I've re=nominated Amarte Es un Placer for featured article. Hopefully it passes this time. Erick (talk) 13:54, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

Update the prose too please
[edit]Hey Franlm14! Thanks for finding those certifications for Luis Miguel albums. When you update the certifications in the table, be sure to update the prose (the body of the article) as well. Otherwise it will confuse the reader. EDIT: And while not required, try to also keep an archive of the source using sites like WayBack or archive.is. That way, if the link goes dead, we'll have a backup of the source to prevent WP:LINKROT. Again, thanks for finding those certifications! Erick (talk) 14:38, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Luis Miguel albums discography
[edit]Hey Frank! You may have noticed that I split Luis Miguel discography into three articles to cover his albums, singles, and music videos separately. With your recent edits on what is now Luis Miguel albums discography, I am proposing we could work together to make it a featured list. There is precedent on making discographies by Latin artists a featured list that you could look into as examples: Ricky Martin albums discography, Selena albums discography, Ricardo Arjona discography, and Shakira discography. Since Luismi released a lot of albums, it only made sense to split them into articles. Hook me up if you are interested. Erick (talk) 22:25, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

Happy New Year (y otras cosas)
[edit]Happy New Year to you too Frank! So there was a discussion regarding WP:NSONG and the new consensus is that some covers can now warrant its own article provided there's enough information independent of the original. So ideally, Ahora Te Puedes Marchar should be its own article now and I think we can both agree that there's enough information to warrant its own article (plus the song's meaning is completely different from the original). I'm also thinking maybe some of the boleros that Luis Miguel covered can be it's own article (like El Reloj maybe?). I also need help finding a reliable sources that explains what "No Se Tu" is about. I was able to do it for "Hasta Que Me Olvides" and "Suave (song)" as you saw, but I'm having trouble with "No Se Tu". "No Se Tu" definitely deserves it own article. Erick (talk) 23:06, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Magiciandude That's cool! definitively No Sé Tú and Ahora Te Puedes Marchar deserve is own article, from Romance "Inolvidable" was important too. Then I would say La Media Vuelta and La Bikina. And of course the albums 20 Años and Busca Una Mujer, but there is no sources for that I believe. I tried in the past get access to the newspaper library of "El Porvenir" from Monterrey, NL. But it's only possible through the UANL portal, and you need a student credential. I think that newspaper had a very good entertainment section. Franlm14 (talk) 01:18, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, try to see if WP:RX might be able to help you with that. My friend Jaespinoza (who created Luis Miguel's singles from 1988 to 1990) suggested maybe we should use the Luis Miguel TV series to help us. Erick (talk) 01:50, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
