User talk:Fowler&fowler/FAC review of Albany Charter half dollar
I've looked this over and I feel this is over detailed for a FAC and really gets into matters of personal style. I am very grateful for the work that went into it. I would also note that while it is helpful to have the "vetted versions" at the end, sometimes you are including citations (this way would be more helpful), some paragraphs you are not and some you do at the start and then leave off. I've looked at this several times, over days, and part of the problem is that it is packaged in a way that it's not entirely easy to use. If you are going to provide this, include (consistently) the citations so I can easily compare with the existing version, and accept the changes if warranted. Just suggestions. I've got to move on to the other reviewers but I will look again at this as time permits. I appreciate your kind words about my prose on some sentences.--Wehwalt (talk) 09:45, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Wehwalt: Thanks for replying and offering a constructive critique of my critique. I did realize at the time that I was being sloppy, but on account of various distractions could not fix my errors comprehensively. Will make another attempt. Totally understand that you have to move on. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 17:39, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
