[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 13:25, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for feedback. But The external link provides valuable, well-researched, and relevant information that complements the content of the Wikipedia. The linked resource specifically addresses cybersecurity awareness training, which is a significant and modern aspect of security awareness. This makes it highly relevant for readers who want to dive deeper into actionable strategies and methodologies for addressing security challenges.
- Keepnet is a reputable organization in the field of security awareness and cybersecurity training, and the content on the linked page is supported by industry research and standards. The resource is educational, offering detailed insights into best practices, training methods, and key statistics. It is not promotional but instead designed to provide practical and credible information that aligns with Wikipedia’s goal of serving as a reliable knowledge repository.
- The link adheres to Wikipedia's external link guidelines by adding value to the existing content without duplicating it. It serves as an additional resource for readers seeking actionable advice on implementing security awareness programs. Topics like phishing simulations, employee training methodologies, and metrics for success are detailed on the page, offering readers a deeper understanding of how to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
- Additionally, the link aligns with other external links already present on the page, such as resources from the Army's Security Education program or the OECD Guidelines. Similar to these, the proposed link expands the range of available resources, allowing readers to explore the subject more comprehensively. It offers unique and actionable insights, which can enhance the reader's understanding of modern cybersecurity challenges.
- By including this link, Wikipedia page can provide readers with a broader perspective on the topic, equipping them with practical tools and knowledge to address evolving security threats. If any further adjustments are required to meet Wikipedia’s guidelines, I am happy to revise the suggestion accordingly. Forrest405 (talk) 14:53, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- The link is plainly advertising, and Wikipedia does not include links to advertising. Also, please do not reply to talk messages with AI-generated text, no one is here to correspond with chat bots. MrOllie (talk) 14:56, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- If the link doesn't meet Wikipedia's guidelines, I'm happy to withdraw it or revise my approach to better align with the standards. Thanks Forrest405 (talk) 15:37, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. MrOllie (talk) 14:16, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Please let me know which part is promotion? Forrest405 (talk) 17:29, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I will show you tons of pages on Wikipedia that have external backlinks. Also, my additions are unique, Wikipedia doesn't have this topic. Forrest405 (talk) 17:31, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I am transparent and not biased. But you are. And you are so aggressive. Not appreciated. I wasted 3 hours for my quishing content today Forrest405 (talk) 17:32, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Writing a draft article is not some sort of payment you can provide in exchange for a 'backlink'. We're not going to link your site. Kindly stop spamming Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 17:33, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- This is an assuption. Please prove your claims. Forrest405 (talk) 17:38, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Your contribution history is available for all to see, including the additions of spam links. MrOllie (talk) 17:38, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- You have to prove everything you said. Everything is noted here. Forrest405 (talk) 17:39, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- If you maintain this aggressive and biased tone, I will share our correspondence on social media unless you provide justification for your claims. Forrest405 (talk) 17:41, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I do not accept your accusations, particularly regarding my latest piece on Quishing. Forrest405 (talk) 17:42, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- It's clear from this conversation that you're being biased and making accusations without any real proof. Saying things like "spamming Wikipedia" or "offering backlinks" are serious claims, and you need to back them up with actual evidence. Just pointing to my contribution history isn't enough—it doesn’t prove anything.
- Even if I get blocked, I’ll keep adding my content because I know it’s relevant and useful. Unless you can provide solid proof for your claims, these accusations don’t hold up. Forrest405 (talk) 17:45, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Do not interfere with my articles unless you have solid proof or a valid reason based on Wikipedia guidelines. Also, stop messaging me—I’m done trying to be kind to you. If you can’t follow the rules or provide evidence for your claims, leave my contributions alone. Forrest405 (talk) 17:47, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- If you do so, we'll just add your domain to Wikipedia's spam blacklist, which may impact your SEO efforts in the negative direction. MrOllie (talk) 17:47, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I am an esteemed writer whose work has been featured in numerous magazines and articles, and I will not let baseless accusations or biased behavior tarnish my reputation. Your threats and unjustified actions are unacceptable.
- You will soon see our conversation shared on social media, where everyone can witness your biased and unprofessional approach. It's time you justify your actions with proof or stop interfering.
- Do not write back to me!!!! Forrest405 (talk) 17:52, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
