Hi Fmills87! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Come join experienced editors at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a space where new editors can get help from experienced editors. These editors have been around for a long time and have extensive knowledge about how Wikipedia works. Come share your experiences, ask questions, and get advice from experts. I hope to see you there! Doctree (I'm a Teahouse host)
Regarding the new photo: you have uploaded it to Commons as if you own the copyright to the image and therefore have the ability to bestow the right to use it. Is that the case? I ask because the last photo you uploaded seemed to be a non-free photo, which is inappropriate for bio articles of living people. Some new editors are unaware that merely scanning/uploading a photo to the site does not make it your "own work". Thanks in advance for your clarification.— TAnthonyTalk18:39, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
