Speedy deletion nomination of User:Floozy Official
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Floozy Official requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your userpage
[edit]Could I possibly ask you what you are doing with your userpage? As explained above, it is against policy to use Wikipedia as a web host. Please see Wikipedia:NOTWEBHOST and Wikipedia:Userpage. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 12:04, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- I am not using this as a Web host. I have edited other articles too (namely, Josef Radetzky). Stop persecuting new users please. Floozy Official (talk) 12:07, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not persecuting you, please refrain from saying that. You have only made one edit to that article, and I have a concern about the use of your userpage, which is currently against the policies I've linked. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 12:14, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, one edit in one day. I don't find flaws on here every two minutes, and I wouldn't have a great deal of time of time to fix them anyway. And it was persecution - if not from you alone, or at all - because my appeal was dismissed as spam by the individual who banned me. I'm a bit perplexed by how I've been allowed to relaunch by account, to be honest, but it would be nice if I could keep it this time. Thank you! Floozy Official (talk) 12:18, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- I think that's more of a misunderstanding. User:Fastily had quite a lot of spam on their talk page, so I think your post may have been removed by accident. I do have to ask that you have a look at the pages I linked, maybe you could use your page to describe yourself and your activities on Wikipedia? That would be much better, and within our policies. I realise that Wikipedia can be confusing at first, but I would appreciate it if you could think about what I said. Thanks, Schminnte (talk • contribs) 12:28, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Also, noone has banned you. You would see a block notice if your account was blocked. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 12:37, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

I agree that this seems like a dubious use of a user page. The talk page or a subpage can be used for such things, as long as it's related to improving the encyclopedia and not some project off-wiki. I'm going to delete all the content on your user page now, and you can access it in the history and copy it to another spot.
BTW, a subpage (which will be watched by other interested editors) can be made by just writing User:Floozy Official/Whatever title you choose. (Just click that redlink and create the page.) If you are creating an article, do it on a subpage. Don't be discouraged if your first few articles are deleted immediately. It takes time to learn our policies, guidelines, and manual of style. To avoid immediate deletion, I suggest you seek advice from an experienced editor. Have them look over what you have on your subpage and give you some advice. Then you can improve your article and its sourcing and the article will have a better chance of surviving once it "goes live". -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 14:26, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

- Oh bugger off, I'm growing terribly sick of this malice persecution. My appeals are being completely ignored and my edits are being consistently and anonymously reverted and blanked. Could you stop showing me the same repetitive message that is to me what seeing a plague doctor was to patients... i.e. a BLOODY death sentence!. This is merely a kangaroo court. The defendant is ignored and silenced, and the outcome is predetermined. I feel desolate really, what a nasty experience. Thanks! Floozy Official (talk) 20:46, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
What were you expecting here?
[edit]Seriously, tell us why you are here. Did you think this Wikipedia is a free web hosting service or chatroom? Maybe you should read the links in this welcome template. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 20:54, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- No need to. I was blocked without being even once listened to, all my appeals shunned, my name slandered and this chapter in my life tainted. But, if the past few months have proven anything... nevermind. I shall never edit this broken broken encycloprdia again, not without acquiring your permission first. Goodbye. Floozy Official (talk) 21:01, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Floozy, we have nothing against you personally. The problem is that you seem to think this is Olompali, a place with no policies or guidelines (PAG), or manual of style. It's not. You aren't allowed to write anything you want here. There are rules, and the product is the most amazing source of information to ever exist.
- Think of this place as a publishing business in a big building with groups of people working together in a collaborative effort to document the sum total of human knowledge, but only as it is revealed in primarily secondary reliable sources. All those words are defined in our PAG. If you are willing to abide by them, then you can help us. If not, you could go to Conservapedia. They have laxer rules and standards for what is accurate and true. They also have a strong, conservative, agenda.
- If you leave here, don't come back as a sock puppet or troll. That will eat your soul and turn you into a bad person. Maintain your integrity by just leaving and finding another hobby. Good luck. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 22:09, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Well... as stated, I seek your permission first. Shall I edit again, @Valjean? Floozy Official (talk) 21:29, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
- I've also revoked talk page access to prevent further trolling.-- Ponyobons mots 21:51, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
