Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Wikipedia is not a medium for publishing fiction. JBW (talk) 10:54, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- This is an actual micronation located in Miami. If necessary, i will report you for malicious intent. Flexmaster420 (talk) 12:30, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- If this is actually something which has had significant coverage in reliable sources, and not something you have made up, then you will easily be able to show me where those sources are, and I will be happy to restore the page. You also need to explain exactly what your own connection to your fantasy country is, in view of Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest. As for malicious intent, I wouldn't recommend that, because generally speaking accusations about editors' intentions, rather than criticism of their actions, are not well received on Wikipedia; policy is that, in the absence of clear evidence to the contrary, we should assume good faith, even if we think an editor is mistaken. . JBW (talk) 19:56, 3 December 2022 (UTC)- Maybe if you made a little research you would realise that this "fantasy country" is a micronation. And if you look up the word micronation it is defined as: "a small area or political entity that claims national sovereignty but is not recognized by other sovereign states.". Similarly to the micronation of Molossia (who under your standards should not be in a wiki article), Lumeria is a group of people that claim a non-existing territory along with American soil. This country is not recognised by any actual country and is probably the product of imagination of a group of teenagers; however you cannot deny that it is an actual group of people who established a cultural entity with a complex (albeit possibly fictional) history and a unique political and economic system. You must also understand that even though this "fantasy land" is not technically real; it is organised in such way that it might affect the world politically, similarly to the Principality of Sealand (another micronation). I urge you to review your decision and to rethink your perspective on this "fantasy country". Flexmaster420 (talk) 00:59, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- Sealand has received substantial coverage in multiple published sources; Lumeria hasn't. Therefore Sealand satisfies Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and Lumeria doesn't. You are not asking me "to rethink [my] perspective", you are asking me to rethink Wikipedia's notability guidelines. For what it may be worth to you, personally I don't totally agree with Wikipedia's notability requirements, but as an administrator my task is to apply policies and guidelines as they are, not as I would like them to be. I can't even begin to imagine why you think Molossia is a similar case. JBW (talk) 17:37, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- I believe that molossia is a similar case because itt was initially founded by two teenagers and is continued by a middle aged man; this "country" has also had wars and even has an ongoing war with a country that no longer exists; the only difference is molossia has been covered by the media multiple times due to it's satirical existence (I'm terribly sorry if my spelling is wrong). Lumeria is quite similar in the case that it is a fake soverign state with satirical history and culture. Flexmaster420 (talk) 22:19, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- I was also wondering if youtube counts as media coverage; because i believe there have been some (perhaps 2 or 3) videos on lumeria since it's publication back in 2021. I would also like to inform you that though i am not close friends with Prince Julio, i found the topic of his "country" quite interesting and used him as my most direct source of information (after prime minister Sulca who no longer attends the same academy). If you would like to have more information from the original sources I believe Mr. Sulca and his "ministry of interior" created a website. I shall post it as soon as i find the link.
