Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Fallon Fox. Per the Manual of Style, Wikipedia gives precedence to gender self-identification as reported by reliable sources. This includes the use of appropriate pronouns corresponding to the identity (e.g., trans women typically use she/her and trans men typically use he/him). Further, per this part of the Manual of Style, birth names should be included in the lead sentence only when the person was notable prior to coming out. Your edits were counter to the one or both of these aspects of the Manual of Style and have been reverted or removed. Repeated vandalism like this can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 06:02, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Orphan Wiki. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Gabriel Rosado seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Infobox dates

[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:03, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I notice you are continuing to update statistics without timestamps. Please remember the above advice when updating these stats. Thanks, Nzd (talk) 14:25, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Gary Cahill. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:28, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CASSIOPEIA. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ion Cuțelaba, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:41, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You in fact did make a mistake. Cutelaba trains at Tiger Muay Thai, it’s all over his social media accounts. Flashover96 (talk) 21:26, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Flashover, Greetings. First of all, you need to WP:PING me so I will receive a notification. Secondly, if you want to add/change the content of the page, then you need to provide the source to support the content claimed - see WP:PROVEIT. To add web source you can either (i) use the horizontal Template:Cite web or enabble WP:VisualEditor (just copy and paste the URL and Visual Editor will automatically fill the necessary fields for you.) so if you want to add back Cutelaba trains in Tiger Muay Thai, then add the reliable source (social media is not a reliable source so is his home page but look for mma sites or newspaper and sources can be in any languages). Let me know if anything else I could help. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:45, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Flshover96, Good day. I have removed the style and rank which you added in the article above. I have mentioned to you before for style (MMA fighter), as per WP:MMA "The style parameter should only be used in MMA fighters that have participated professionally or in international competitions in other combat sports (i.e. boxing or kickboxing) and who are notable in said sports and deserve an article for their merits in these other sports", if you could prove (provide inline citation from independent, reliable source) then you are welcome to add it back and same as "rank" a citation is need. Let me know anything else I could help. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 01:46, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please do not ever change direct quotations, as you did in your recent edit at Tijuana Cartel. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 17:04, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And what exactly do you know about the Tijuana Cartel? 😂 Flashover96 (talk) 17:50, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not much. But please do not change direct quotations on any topic. If you'd like to find a different source for another description of the cartel, proving a point you'd like to see expressed in the article, that would be fine. Jessicapierce (talk) 18:05, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Billy Corben, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cocaine Cowboys. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Étienne Capoue article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 18:30, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of a date of birth to Amanda Schull. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published source. Eddie Blick (talk) 19:32, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
