Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Category:Slovakian heavy metal musical groups has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. NFL Europe move
I concur fully with your move, as the "Europa" tag was only placed on the league for the one, final season.
The question that leads me to post here, though, is to ask what your thoughts are regarding merging the World League of American Football article with the NFL Europe article. The break between the two is not particularly clear enough, IMO, to support two articles, as the "World League" name was used for the Europe-only league upon it's revival. That says to me that they really were intended to be the same league. Your thoughts? oknazevad (talk) 18:58, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Asguard (band)
I have nominated Asguard (band), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Asguard (band). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The Spectrum (Philadelphia) vs. Wachovia Spectrum
Hello Fixer. I see you moved the article from its corporate-sponsored name to a neutral one. I don't disagree with the move (in fact, I proposed it on the article's Talk page in December), but I've been unable to find any source that says Wachovia has ended their naming rights deal. In a discussion with another user (you can see part of it here, on my talk page), another frequent editor suggested waiting 'til the arena is razed. Other than its absence on this list, do you have any citable news that mentions the change in name? Me Three (talk to me) 20:11, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Earl category CfD tags
I have removed the CfD tags from Category:Earl of Glencairn and Category:Earl of Sutherland. I did this because you didn't give any reason for the renames, and didn't make any nomination at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2011 April 13. If you think they are covered by any spedy criterion, feel free to tag them with {{subst:Cfr-speedy|newname}} and list them at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Speedy. Otherwise, if you still think they should be renamed, feel free to retag them, and list them at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2024 November 15. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 05:32, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

The article Stephan Görgl has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The-Pope (talk) 16:34, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi Fixer88,

It'll be located at our very own Wikimedia Foundation offices, and we'd love it if some local editors who are new to the meetup scene came and got some free lunch with us :) Please sign up on the meetup page if you're interested in attending, and I hope to see you soon! Proposed deletion of Britons in Egypt
The article Britons in Egypt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No sources; no assertion of notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:59, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

This is absolutely fascinating. Please have a look at the edits of PCruiser (talk · contribs) and read this discussion. They may strike a chord as to the identity of PCruiser. - I'd like some more information about PCruiser. A look at the timing of your edits and PCruiser's edit leads me to believe that this account is controlling PCruiser; for example, Fixer88 edits at 22:04, followed at 22:05 by the creation of a sandbox entry by PCruiser; that continues until 22:18, and then Fixer88 resumes at 22:25. Unblocked
Following a successful appeal to arbcom, your account has been unblocked. This comes with a few cautions that are important to keep in mind:
- Communication is important. If people have concerns about your edits, you need to engage with them promptly.
- It appears that you did some logged-out editing while your account was blocked. This is called "block evasion" and is not allowed. If you've been blocked, there are problems serious enough that they have to be addressed before you continue editing.
- Although it is acceptable to edit while logged out if your account is not blocked, it is better to make it a habit to log in whenever you edit. This helps reduce confusion, especially if you are working from a shared location. If you are concerned about security, you can use a publicly declared alternate account for editing from less-secure locations.
Thanks and happy editing! Opabinia regalis (talk) 02:49, 1 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello Fixer88. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. Wrong Disambiguation.
You have "disambiguated" (Thruster#Spacecraft thrusters → Rocket engine) on many of my articles (JCSAT-1, JCSAT-2, JCSAT-3, Intelsat 26, Horizons-1, HS-393, SBS 6 (satellite), Superbird-A2 and Superbird-C). It is inaccurate, it should not be done, and is technically wrong. Most thrusters are not even a rocket engine. They have no choking at the throat of the combustion chamber. And many of the thrusters are little more than simple solenoid valves. A Thruster is a use, rocket engine is a propulsion technology, intent vs mean or what vs how. – Baldusi (talk) 21:13, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Intentional links to dab pages
- Hi, regarding this edit: links that contain
(disambiguation)
in their title intentionally point to the disambiguation page. These should never be fixed, unless you have a good reason to. There's more info at WP:INTDAB. Thanks. Uanfala (talk) 18:29, 23 September 2016 (UTC) - Now I've come across this edit: if you see a dablink tagged with {{dn}}, this means an editor has already tried to disambiguate the link and hasn't found enough information in the context (or in he sources given) to decide on the intended target. Most of the time this means that these links are usually very difficult to fix, so I'd caution against trying to, unless (of course) you're prepared to go to the trouble of hunting down further references and doing some detective work. The article Storm (Malagasy band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails GNG and NBAND: Due-diligent BEFORE did not produce any demonstrably independent and reliable sources offering significant coverage.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —swpbT 17:05, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review - newsletter
- Breaking the back of the backlog
If each reviewer does only 10 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
Let's get that over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
- Second set of eyes
Not only are New Page Reviewers the guardians of quality of new articles, they are also in a position to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged for deletion and maintenance and that new authors are not being bitten. This is an important feature of your work. Read about it at the new Monitoring the system section in the tutorial.
