Collaboration request: Virtual YouTubers

[edit]

Hey there. It's been nice to work with someone as interested in VTubers as I am, and I just noticed you did the bold thing and started a draft for an article on Hololive. I think now's the time to act on idea I've had for a couple weeks now: I want to create a team of editors and possibly off-wiki translators to build an English-language coverage of this phenomena. Your translation of Hololive's article will be an important first step in this regard. As for individual VTubers, I want experiment in translation and then expansion of Oozora Subaru's Japanese article into English, since it seems to be pretty high quality. What do you think of all this? –♠Vami_IV†♠ 06:18, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Vami IV:Unfortunately, I'm not very consistent in term of my editing habits or skills. Aside from a small project of two, I mostly just perform some small edits on any articles relating to my personal interest (Naval history, anime and anime-adjacent content). My native language is not even English. I will contribute what I can but don't expect anything on the same scale as the Hololive article. Also that article isn't a translation, I just borrow the structure from Japanese version, I have to look up most of the content on Reddit and google translate.Feking83 (talk) 08:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
