To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
[edit]Hello, I'm Xexerss. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, American Dad!, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 01:52, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Chuggington. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 01:52, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Dragon Ball Z. Xexerss (talk) 01:53, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- I wasn't vandalizing. FastParkSquirrel2 (talk) 01:57, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
@Xexerss: thanks for your anti-vandal work but perhaps be a little careful with the templates as some of these edits aren't really vandalism. This one in particular did not need a warning.
FastParkSquirrel2, am assuming the American Dad! edit relates to the show soemtiems being replaced by another less interesting program? If so this is accurate but probably doesn't need to be on the American Dad! page as it depends on where the reader lives and what their TV schedule is. Also "more boring" is a personal opinion, which not all readers are likely to share. Not sure what you were doing with the edit at Chuggington, if it was a test edit then you might want to try these out in your sandbox page at User:FastParkSquirrell2/sandbox. Good luck with it! -- Euryalus (talk) 02:30, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oh and welcome to Wikipedia. The template at the top of the page might be useful if you need more information. let me know if you have any questions. -- Euryalus (talk) 02:32, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
