This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Songs From The Blue House, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.highbarnrecords.com/artists/sftbh/sftbh.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:25, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- FYI: You are not supposed to remove the tag, its up to admins to do that. Removing a tag of this nature is usually a big nean sign that says "I have done something that I do not want others to know about", which has the adverse effect of attracting attention, and can under some circumstances result in a suspension of editting privialges here. - I regret to inform that this is, by our standards, a copyright violation and will have to be deleted. If you have any questions about this feel free to leave a message on my talk page and I will reply to you. TomStar81 (Talk) 18:38, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
The problem is that Wikipedia is only intersted in the bottom line: the one that says "© 2008 " or some variation there of. As long as a cited website has a letter c in a circle at the bottom any material added from that page in a copy and paste since will get axed. Thats not my descion, it is an edict from the powers that be, and unfourtently it falls to admins like me to do this sort of thing to keep wikipedia out of legal trouble. Both the face book page and the high barn records page are copyrighted, and thus the material on the pages con not be simply copied and pasted here, it needs to be substatially rewritten so that it does not violate our copyright policies. TomStar81 (Talk) 18:50, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Its just that your new to site. Like all new things, we have to make mistakes in order to learn from them, and this is by wikipedia standards a very minor infraction of policy. In time, if you stay here long enough, you will get a feel for this sort of stuff. At any rate, your probably eager to get started on the article rewrite, so I will leave you in peace. Good luck :) TomStar81 (Talk) 19:07, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Copy
[edit]Below is the last saved copy of the page. I would suggest moving it to a user subspace (User:Farnishk/Songs From The Blue House or something similar) so that you can work on it without any type of external harasment. As a fair warning to you, make sure that when you recreate the page the article is cufficently rewritten and cites secondary sources; otherwise, it may end up axed again on the grounds that it is recreated material. If your not sure if the article will survive drop me a message and I will offer my two cents. Good luck! TomStar81 (Talk) 18:58, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

'''Songs From The Blue House''' are a folk / bluegrass band based in Essex and Suffolk.
== History ==
In 2002, James Partridge and Shane Kirk, sometime creative collaborators and band cohorts who had not made music with each other for a decade, decided that it was time to get together and write some songs.
It was meant to be very simple - just two chaps with acoustic guitars, telling stories. The resulting songs were kind of bluegrassy., but sort of folky, and then again a bit country.
Then it just grew. First, ‘Gibbon’ joined, to add not just bass lines, but also for melody, harmonies and arrangement as well as brass. One of the songs, Let’s Do It Country, needed a female voice for a verse, so Helen stepped in – and refused to leave, especially once she’d helped to write a good chunk of what turned out to be the second album ‘Too’.
James found a mandolin and dobro player at an Asparagus Fair. Tony Winn, a banjo player, offered to fit in gigs between acting engagements and his own ‘Singing in the Bath’ show. Fiddly Richard (that’s not his real name) shyly played violin and quickly became indispensable.
“Tree” is SftBH’s third album. At the moment, the line up can feature anything from two to nine members, plus a couple of guests here and there. It’s still very hard to pin the band’s ‘sound’ down.
