Hebraic people
[edit]Dear, Falastin fee qalby,I am an arabian too, And I appreciate what have done to my category "hebraic people" , But there is on problem, The Hebraic people Are descended from Aber ibn Shaleh ibn Arpheckshad ibn Sam ibn Noah ibn Lamek ibn Motoshaleh ibn Edres (Enoch) ibn Yared ibn Mehlaiel ibn Qenan ibn Anosh ibn Sheeth ibn Adam, who are Qahtanites, Adnanites, And Banu Israel, And you removed most of them from the category, And to let you see that I am right You should Read these articles, And there soures, And there refrinses :
- read "Qahtani origins" in the Qahtanite article.
- read Joktan
- read eber
- read Peleg
- read Ishmael
- read Mudar

Re:Ka'ak and Zeitoun
[edit]Hey Falastine, sorry I had to change it, but you see why it can't be an A-class article. It doesn't have to pass to pass the GA review for it to be A-class, but it's preferable. Now, I judge whether an article meets C-class on the basis of the article size being over 10,000 bytes, but since Ka'ak is not a subject that we could write extensively about (that's my assumption...), I think a C-class rating would suffice. Nonetheless, if you have any info on the pastry, please expand the article. As for Yamanam, I would have unblocked him sooner had I known about it. His IP address is still blocked, but as long as he logs in, there should be no problems. Regards, --Al Ameer son (talk) 03:31, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Certainly. Who knows, maybe we could for a GA? You should collaborate with Tiamut to make the article even better. I think it'll be good to expand on the various forms of ka'ak throughout the Arab world and yes, a section or passage on etymology would be great. By the way, how are things coming along with the Zeitoun attacks draft? --Al Ameer son (talk) 06:56, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Unless they're for recipes, recipe books are not too reliable... but it really depends on which book you are using. Forgive me for not continuing the review of the article. I made some edits in the rest of the article and will take another look at the whole article tomorrow hopefully. As for the messages issue, I have not had that problem. It's probably just a glitch. Tell me if it continues. Cheers! --Al Ameer son (talk) 04:16, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for not responding. I must have missed it or forgot-it happens a lot with me :(. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia has tech support, but not sure where to go exactly. As for Zeitoun, go ahead an make the move, but please choose a different name like "Zeitoun incident" or "Zeitoun 2009 incident", for NPOV. Again, I'll look over the article, but it won't make a difference if you start the real one or not. Cheers and good luck! --Al Ameer son (talk) 05:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, it was my pleasure and I hope to help with the article now too. One thing though, about my "incident" suggestion, it might not be totally accurate since unlike the al-Fakhura or Beit Hanoun November 2006 incident, the situation with Zeitoun seems closer to combat (to me it resembles a massacre, but let's not go there until we have scholarly sources on it in the future.) Perhaps "Zeitoun raid" or something like that. Should we move this discussion to the article talk page? --Al Ameer son (talk) 06:14, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

- Hello again, I made some changes to the article for improving its wikipedicity. I've retired all the tags. Regards,--Auslli (talk) 13:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hello, the references were done before I cleaned up the article, and they are enough for keeping it. Just now there are only needed some citations or clarifying something, but like it is, the article just need to be improved. Regards.--Auslli (talk) 13:37, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Experience festival.com is NOT a reliable source @ Shia Islam
[edit]Thanx for pointing out this source, an unreliable source tag has been placed against this source(you can help by putting at other occurrences, I found only 3). Meanwhile alternative sources are being searched to support or correct this info otherwise it'll be removed. Thanx again. --Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haider Rizvi (talk) 04:27, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Regarding sources I have used most reliable source for the table of demographics on Shia Islam it is The Shia revival, Military Review , May-June, 2007 by Vali Nasr you can also have look on other sources quoted on text above the table. Most of the edits are either sourceless or based on unreliable source, so I have to revert them (few other users like Oggress, Rav, Pashtun, Doc and Seyyed also keep watch). Infact since the day I did this section I have been doing this job. I know I'm not being very helpful but at present thats all I can. --Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haider Rizvi (talk) 06:00, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- I had been facing same difficulty since I took task to track Shia demographics. Good luck! plz let me know about links if you find them. Thanx--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haider Rizvi (talk) 10:59, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]You have been doing awesome job here at wikipedia, defending Palestinian related articles from biased POV, trying your best at all articles to push a NPOV, uploading pics, and of course assisting editors in several occasions, for all of those edits\contributions and even more, this would be the least.

{{Help}}|I received two emails (one from the Arabic Wikipedia, and the other from the English) indicating that someone from the IP address 64.34.217.25 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) requested a new password. That is not my IP and I didn't make the requests. I did a search on the IP, and apparently he had made threats against user:Troy_07. Both Troy_07 and I are involved in the sockpuppetry case of user:Lanternix. Where do I report this, should I ignore it? -Falastine fee Qalby (talk) 00:56, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- FYI, I have replied on my talk page. ~ Troy (talk) 01:03, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Sure thing. You can call of the help now if all you're worried about is ips related to Lanternix, I'm certain that it wasn't him. Besides, the Grawp IPs that vandalized on my talk page were mostly after myself; you shouldn't be as much of a target, at least on-wiki. ~ Troy (talk) 01:09, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi there. This request is a phishing attempt and is beyond the realms of Wikipedia. Best thing is to ignore it. Chzz ► 01:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]That what it sounds like to me, although it doesn't say closed off to Jerusalem/West Bank specifically. Then again, what else would Gaza be closed off to with concerns to Dar al-Tifl? I wish they provided a year of the closure for us to be sure. Anyway, not a big deal. Stick with what you thought it meant. Hind Husseini
[edit]Hi, I´m sure you can link to the videos, in fact, the "Sand of Sorrow"-video is also linked to at the Nakba-page. Just make sure to state very clearly that the links are to videos...not all people using Wikipedia has broadband!
Also, you might want to mention that Hind was born into the powerful al-Husayni-family. In fact, there has long been a red-link on that page to her name...
Good luck! Regards, Huldra (talk) 16:10, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Re:Barnstar
[edit]Thanks so much Falastine! I'm glad you noticed my contributions to the Ayyubids. Barnstars never fail to motivate me. Initially, I had been editing Saladin, but got distracted by the disgustingly small and incomprehensible article on his Ayyubid family. I'm hoping for a GA nomination in the next few weeks. Since you're from Yemen, I was wondering if you would like to help me edit the Rasulids article soon. I gathered a couple sources and plan to work on it once the bulk of the work at the Ayyubids page is finished. Again, shukran. Good luck with Sitt Hind! --Al Ameer son (talk) 04:45, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- It's okay. Actually, I just remembered after the Ayyubids I'm going to work on Gamal Abdel Nasser with Nableezy, but I might drop in on the Rasulids to make it at least a C. I haven't drank coffee in a year, but I just hate to see such important Arab/Islamic articles in such crappy shape. And once involved, I usually become very interested in the subject and I strive to make it even better. --Al Ameer son (talk) 00:01, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Recent edits on Safiyya bint Huyayy
[edit]Recently few sections of article have been removed. These sections were based on Martin Lings' work, reason cited was that Lings is not a historian and was just a writer.
But same article quotes Wafa Sultan who is a psychatriat.
The difference seems to be is that Lings quotation were in support of Muslim view while Wafa's are against.
I think a discussion is needed over this issue.

[edit]Do you still need help with Hind Husseini? Did you know a feature film will out soon, directed by Julian Schnabel, that deals with her life and those of four other Palestinian women beginning in 1948 and going into the present? I have friends who worked on it this summer.
Anyway my dear, let me know if I can be of assistance. It was notes like yours that helped me to see why I should come back. Thanks for that. Happy editing. Tiamuttalk 11:04, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:02, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
