Overwriting files
[edit]Please do not upload over top of an existing img=age as you did with File:Simon hussey.jpg. The image you uploaded is different and of very poor quality. If you wish to upload the image, you can do so with a different name. -- Whpq (talk) 12:27, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Simon Hussey edits
[edit]I have reverted your recent edits at Simon Hussey, I have explained my rationale at its talkpage. I ask that you respond there with your opinion as to how your changes improve the article.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 08:01, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
- I removed the newly added section, Career Demise. Any article requires reliable source(s) for contentious claims. See talkpage for my discussion.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:39, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
New material from December 2017 requires reliable sources or it may be removed.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 00:24, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
I have reverted your changes to the lead-in sentence: they are not neutral in tone and repeat material already in the Lead. See talkpage for further discussion.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 07:49, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
Conflict of Interest?
[edit]According to this edit on my talk page you claim to represent the subject of the article, above. Please read WP:COI.
Also understand that other editors have the right to adjust the article as long as they follow appropriate guidelines/policies. One guideline, WP:LEAD, tells us that "[it] serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents. It is not a news-style lead."
Specifically: a single by another artist is not the only work this artist is notable for and placing it in the very first sentence would give this fact undue weight and prominence. It is already mentioned later in the Lead, as it should be, together with other works by the subject of the article.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 01:43, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Facetsof. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Simon Hussey , you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Animalparty! (talk) 18:29, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
August 2018 at Simon Hussey
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Simon Hussey. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Once again, as you have been identified as having a Conflict of Interest, I ask you to try to reach a consensus with other editors on the article's talk page prior to any of your proposed changes.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 04:37, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Simon Hussey, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. - To be precise, wrecking the Infobox syntax is not acceptable - if there are particular details to be changed then the individual parameters must be properly edited. Dl2000 (talk) 21:02, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
