Your recent edit at Brave New World
[edit]Hi! I noticed your recent at the Brave New World article. Thank you for helping to build the world's largest, most consulted encyclopedia. Thank you for leaving a good edit summary. I reverted your edit because it introduced a few problems. You may wish to revisit the article and work on changes again. The problems I noticed were
- change of civilization to civilization — The English language Wikipedia is edited and used by people who use various national varieties of spelling—an article should use a uniform variety of spelling, either the initially established variety, or, when the subject is closely associated with a particular variety, that variety. For Brave New World the variety is UK English.
- fragmentary sentence — one change you made in punctuation resulted in "There, near the village of Puttenham, where he intends to adopt an ascetic lifestyle in order to purify himself of civilization and make amends for his mistreatment of his mother." (main clause is missing)
- accidently removing a period while adding a phrase, resulting in "a sensational spectacle over the course of a few days Hundreds of sightseers,"
- changes in phrasing that, in my opinion, did not improve the existing expression (unnecessary detail, for example).
If you'd like to discuss this you may reply by posting below my post (preceded you post with a colon, which will indent your reply)
- like this
Or you can open a thread on the talk page of the article at Talk:Brave New World. If you have any questions I will be glad to help; you can post on my talk page at User talk:Neonorange. I look forward to colaborating with you in this project. — Neonorange (talk) 07:37, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
