[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to metalcore, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. GunMetal Angel 08:25, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- No, that's totally your opinion. This website goes by sources, not what you think is metalcore. And the sources say all those bands are metalcore. • GunMetal Angel 08:37, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- Also, I would recommend to cease changing genres on articles for bands as well. Those are also considered disruptive and were reverted by other editors. • GunMetal Angel 08:43, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- That does not matter, the idea is for more of the most notable groups to be there, not bands that you prefer. Read the hidden comment on the article that clearly says not to add any more bands, the ones there are good enough. If you feel otherwise, you should start a thread on Talk:Metalcore. • GunMetal Angel 08:58, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Please stop changing genres the way you have been. They should be separated by commas, not line breaks. The first letter is capitalized and the remainder are lower case, unless it's a proper name. So on Radiosurgery (album) the correct formatting is "Punk rock, pop punk, alternative rock", not "Punk Rock
Pop Punk
Alternative Rock" as you edited it. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:15, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
And then there's the fact that all of your changes are done without adding an edit summary. Please add a comment when editing. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:18, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Killswitch Engage (2000 album), you may be blocked from editing. GunMetal Angel 15:23, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to The End of Heartache, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. The1337gamer (talk) 16:49, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. File source problem with File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Possibly unfree File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Sumanch (talk) 06:10, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:InMe - The Pride CD cover.jpg, which you've sourced to http://inmeofficial.co.uk/. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ~~Ebe123~~ → report 15:08, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm GoneIn60. I noticed that you made a change to an article, PlayStation 4, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GoneIn60 (talk) 23:29, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Testify (P.O.D. album), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:23, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you add defamatory content, as you did at As I Lay Dying (band), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Elizium23 (talk) 06:25, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
- The problem is not the content but the lack of references. Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:46, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
- I am confident that he, or anyone, would have trouble finding a reliable source to say that Lambesis is suddenly "no longer Christian" by virtue of having allegedly committed crimes. Perhaps it's merely WP:OR. I will WP:AGF and assume that it is not a deliberate campaign of defamation. Elizium23 (talk) 19:59, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
- Aha, I see a tumblr post by Lambesis himself (?) that appears to recant his faith. Now I understand. Thanks for the note. Elizium23 (talk) 20:05, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Anarcho-Transhumanism
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Anarcho-Transhumanism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ieet.org/index.php/IEET/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
