Temple Street

[edit]

Hi there. It doesn’t make any sense to change the Temple Street category to be for Boat Rocker Media. Temple Street is the production company, Boat Rocker the parent. It makes much more sense to put the Temple Street as a subcategory to Boat Rocker. By moving stuff to Boat Rocker you’re making things less granular. Please explain why this has been done as there are no discussions I can see. Canterbury Tail talk 19:28, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Paramount Television programs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Syndication (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Ways to improve List of Entertainment One programs

[edit]

Hello, ExtraEditing,

Thanks for creating List of Entertainment One programs! I edit here too, under the username Boleyn and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Please add your references.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Boleyn}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

An article you recently created, List of Entertainment One programs, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. WarnerMedia

[edit]

Please don't move every television series produced by a WarnerMedia-related company into Category:Television series by WarnerMedia Entertainment. If a show was originally produced by HBO Downtown Productions, or Studio T, it should remain in that category. Warner's restructuring does not negate which company originally produced a show, and dumping them all into a WarnerMedia category is misleading and confusing, especially when a show was produced well before WarnerMedia's inception. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 23:15, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Paramount Television into Paramount Television (original). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:16, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disney–ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Disney–ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I find it funny that you’re telling someone not to engage in a edit war when you’ve been involved in edit wars for numerous time and have gotten blocked for most of them. Don’t tell someone about a rule that you fail to follow yourself. HurricaneGeek2002 (talk) 19:03, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, ExtraEditing. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of Entertainment One programs".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

A tag has been placed on Category:Former ViacomCBS subsidiaries requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

this isn't how categories work...each entity was formerly owned by either CBS Corp or Viacom, it has no relation to the new company

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
