Please use appropriate English variants
[edit]Regarding this edit on Cinema of China. You changed some American English spellings to British English: wikt:theaters to wikt:theatres and wikt:labeled to wikt:labelled. See wp:engvar for policy and info. There were a number of British English before your edit. They should have been changed to American English, which I did. Please check for tags such as {{EngvarB}}, {{Use Indian English}}, and others. See Template:EngvarB#See also for other templates. You may need to make a judgment call based upon the text in the article and context. See wp:engvar for info on this. Sometimes you may need to go back to the first few edits after article creation.
These two tags were present in Cinema of China: {{Use American English|date=July 2020}}
{{Use dmy dates|date=July 2020}}
You can also check for them in the categories list: Cinema of China#External links. To see these wp:Hidden categorys, you need to check Show hidden in your Preferences. Preferences -> Appearance -> Advanced options -> Show hidden categories categories. See help:preferences#Advanced options. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 01:00, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
