Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Goodnight Gotham, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File moving

[edit]

Hi, When you've renamed a file please remember to remove the template ({{Rename media}), You obviously didn't remove it here and so I've moved the file not knowing it was already moved by you,
I would also ask that when renaming you stick to those requested as I don't mean this in a funny way but it was more descriptive than your rename,
Thanks & Happy editing :), –Davey2010Talk 14:35, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm not entirely familiar with this album in particular, I took a quick look at the article and it seems like B-class would be a safe assessment to me. Cheers. Friginator (talk) 23:37, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of The Midnight Star

[edit]

The article The Midnight Star has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable book lacking non-trivial support.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 02:58, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why deletion?

[edit]

Please don't delete the page created! BivekAaron (talk) 03:47, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Esmost, this page should not be edited by human editors; it's a page compiled by the bot from information on article talk pages, specifically the GA nominee templates, and also the various GA review pages, which are subpages of the article talk pages. If you have a change to make, such as the proper subtopic, then the place to edit is the GA nominee template's subtopic field. I'll take a look now and see what the problem is, and see what I can do to fix what's wrong, but for now, the bot is going to (properly) supersede any edits you make to the GA nominations page. You may want to review the information at the GA nomination instructions page. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:12, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Would you mind weighing in on this RfC, which involves whether this statement should be removed: "I Am... Sasha Fierce received generally mediocre reviews from critics"?; "mediocre" was paraphrased from "lukewarm", verified by these sources: 1, 2, 3. Dan56 (talk) 23:27, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please participate to the talk pages consultation

[edit]

Hello

Our team at the Wikimedia Foundation is working on a project to improve the ease-of-use and productivity of wiki talk pages. As a Teahouse host, I can imagine you’ve run into challenges explaining talk pages to first-time participants.

We want all contributors to be able to talk to each other on the wikis – to ask questions, to resolve differences, to organize projects and to make decisions. Communication is essential for the depth and quality of our content, and the health of our communities. We're currently leading a global consultation on how to improve talk pages, and we're looking for people that can report on their experiences using (or helping other people to use) wiki talk pages. We'd like to invite you to participate in the consultation, and invite new users to join too.

We thank you in advance for your participation and your help.

Hi. I think this was quite a silly thing to do, and I urge you to be more careful in future. Glancing at your userpage I'd also recommend you look at Wikipedia:Guidance_for_younger_editors. Thanks. -- Begoon 10:00, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! After having received your message on my talk page, I just wanted to offer my sincerest apologies. At the same time I saw your file, another user requested 8 other files be moved; I took issue with some of his rationale and accidentally conflated the files he requested be moved with the file you requested be moved. He later fixed his rationale, but I made a rash decision to reject one request (that request incidentally being yours), believing it to be tedious - the first move request I 've ever rejected. On top of that, I failed to see that you had uploaded a new, more recent version of the file. For all of that, I am extremely contrite. However, my mistake is not an excuse for incivility: using words like "silly", "nonsense", and putting "filemover" in quotation marks to describe my error is wholly unprofessional. Please do refrain from using such harsh language in the future -; assuming good faith is a cornerstone in a leading a healthy, fulfilling editing life. Again, remarkably sorry about the whole incident. I would offer to amend my mistake, but I see you have already dealt with it on your own. I strongly believe in learning from my mistakes, so thank you for letting me know where I went wrong :) Esmost let's talk
Your apology is appreciated and I'm sorry if you think I was harsh. The thing is, though, it was quite a silly thing to do, and your rationale was nonsense. If you find my pointing that out 'uncivil' then you probably need a slightly thicker skin. Anyway, my apologies again if I upset you, but I still urge you to take more care in future since you may encounter far grumpier souls than me. Good luck. -- Begoon 22:43, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
