Hello, I'm Hot Stop. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so I removed it. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it’s one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Hot Stop 15:43, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

America

[edit]

Edit warring is not permitted on Wikipedia. If you have a concern about a page, discuss it on the relevant talk page (in this case, you're looking for Talk:Americas), rather than continuously reverting. Regards, WilyD 15:44, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!!

The Oxford English Dictionary defines America as, "a land mass of the western hemisphere consisting of the continents of North and South America joined by the Isthmus of Panama."Definition of America I'm tired of arguing this point with people who apparently can't read and/or understand the meaning of those plain words and claim that it's legitimate to use words in ways that do not conform to their definiton. That discussion is over.

From now on, And and all edits to my talk page claiming that America does not have that exact meaning and it's legimate to use America with reference to the United States alone will simply be deleted unread!!!!!!!

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:34, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page comments

[edit]

Hello Epikuro. Here are a few remars about the Libertarianism talk page addition that you provided recently. In no particular order of importance: 1. please post most recent comments at bottom of page; 2. please sign the comments; 3. please provide neutral headings for the comments; and 4. (which is actually more important than the others) please use the talk page for discussing improvements to the article, not the article subject itself. I've moved your comments to the bottom of the page and "neutralfied" the section heading. A bot added a signature for your comments. Nothing has been done about the content of the comments, but they might be removed as "off-topic" from article improvement. (I will not do so, but don't be surprised if someone else does.) Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 16:29, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please be civil

[edit]

I understand you have strong views on the subject but your recent comments on Talk:Americans are not really acceptable, others can take it that you are calling them liars and generally it came across as a rant, please have a read of WP:NPA and be careful when you comment on talk pages, thanks.
