I really like this visual for how a particle moves in deep and shallow waters. One suggestion I have is to use words on the diagram instead of the letters/numbers. For example, you could write "crest" and "trough" on the diagram instead of 2 and 3. Also, I liked the red arrow in the circles at the top of each diagram, so consider having the motion arrows in the circles below the water too to show particle motion. The circle that's above water was a little confusing since there isn't a wave at this snapshot in time above the water, although I understand what you were trying to do there. Also consider using the caption to explain the motion in each wave (why is this motion happening) instead of labeling the parts of the diagram. --Ebmwtreng (talk) 18:01, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
