Thank you for your help. I believe we agree that the contents and images here are valuable, despite the AfD decision to delete. Unfortunately, it is probably easiest to split up the article, unless you have a better idea. I will explain my plan in the section below...--Endroit (talk) 05:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, unless there is some unusual pen or stationery which was developed in Japan, I don't see any reason to try to keep it all in one article. I think splitting it up may be the best option in order to keep the useful information and place it where it's likely to be best used and most easily found. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 06:18, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]


Plan of attack: Splitting this page up

All sections of this article will be incorporated into other relevant articles, except the Erasers section. (The "Erasers" section will be all that will remain, and perhaps a separate article Japanese erasers can be newly created later).

Text (& images) in the "Pens" section will be moved as follows...
  1. Uniball Signo Bit 0.18 mm section → Uni-ball#Models of pen include
  2. Pilot Hi-Tec-C section → Pilot (pen company)#Products
  3. Pilot Petit1 section → Pilot (pen company)#Products
