Hi I’m back. (April 8, 2019) And note, the reason I joined Wikipedia was because I wanted to be extra creative and help add descriptive details so people who read an article on this website can understand, not ruin it. And if I made a mistake please let me know so I can fix it, don’t be so strict about it and threaten to block or ban me and delete my edit, that’s not why I joined. Ps I’m probs younger than y’all I’m only 14 turning 15 soon, I have feelings you know. First time I was a new editor I came because I love art and editing and all that creative stuff so I decided to join because I thought it would be fun but instead, my edits here were getting called unnecessary which hurt me because I sucked at it and I felt like mentally breaking down and unwelcome because I got a lot of that so I decided to quit, but now that I’m changing, it’s getting better and wanted to come back to give y’all another chance but now I need one too so please give me another chance and don’t give me the same kind of hate I got the last time. Please? thank you!

Welcome!

For the last f**king time I was not vandalizing!!! I edited the plot again to try again since first try didn’t work out perfect I didn’t even do much editing on it learn how to give second chances! It’s not like I put something that never happened like someone kissing a butt or something! All I did was add a link to one of the words and edited a small amount of the sentences to what actually-happened it’s like one edit and “Oh that’s vandalizing everything is vandalism”. I am only 14 yrs old I’m still learning so pls.

Ok I need this to stop

[edit]

I’ve been getting a lot of notifications of people accusing me of violating. I’m still learning I didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to be 700 words I don’t keep track of counting while writing. You know what I really thought Wikipedia would be fun with all the editing and stuff apparently I was wrong. With you people saying stuff like this to me, you’re making Wikipedia an unsatisfying hell for me. And with you people accusing me of vandalism, your making me want to quit this website. I am only 14 years old I’m still trying to learn how to use Wikipedia. I’ve had about enough with the “vandalizing violating (even though I’m not)” crap. And I’m sorry if I’m saying words like these but I’m just mad and upset. Emilia I. Fernandez (talk) 18:01, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Emilia, thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Editing here can be a lot of fun, but there are also a lot rules to learn, and that can be very frustrating, especially.when you get warnings. If you haven't taken the Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure yet, it can be a fun way to learn the basics of Wikipedia. If you have any questions feel free to ask me on my talk page. Cheers. - BilCat (talk) 18:49, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A little help?

[edit]

Hey does anyone have any pics I can use or tips on something like uploading movie posters or pictures of popular characters from stuff? I’m still having trouble especially when I try it on my laptop. Everytime I do it, it just gets bolder in red or ruins the entire web page.

Hi Emilia, uploading and using images can be very complicated. This is even more true for things like movie posters a d images of characters, as those images are usually copyrighted. I'm including a standard notice below which has links to some pages that explains Wikipedia's policies on photos and images, and has helps explain more about uploading images. It's written as as a warning, but don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong. The important part is the links. Once you've read at those pages, you should better understand your specific problems with uploading. Again, this is a very complicated area of Wikipedia, so if you don't understand it all at once, it's OK. A lot of experienced users still don't understand it all, myself included. - BilCat (talk) 23:30, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Emilia I. Fernandez. I noticed that one of your recent edits added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 23:24, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Response

[edit]

That was because I tried doing it myself which didn’t work. But now, I realize you have to upload one yourself which i don’t know how to do. I tried once and it instead got bolded in red and didn’t show the picture.

@CrispyCream27: Have you seen the movie? I haven't (and don't intend to), so I can't vouch for the veracity Emilia's changes, but she appears to have made a good-faith effort to clarify the plot, which isn't vandalism. However, it is probably too much information for a plot summary. - BilCat (talk) 22:12, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There's definitely WP:FILMPLOT issues with that edit, but I agree that it's not vandalism and shouldn't be described as such. Template:uw-plotsum1 would have been a better option, or possibly in this case plotsum2 given that Emilia has been advised about expanding plot summaries previously. At worst, possibly disruptive editing, but that's also not vandalism. DonIago (talk) 23:18, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies.. completely misinterpreted your edit and realized it was a good-faith edit. Once again, sorry for the mess up. CrispyCream27 (talk) 23:42, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Emilia I. Isabella yea I really wasn’t vandalizing and plus I was gonna extend some of it so yea
