[edit]Hi! You say Izno could probably help with bots because they're a mod on a server. That suggests you likely value technical expertise. So, I wanted to point out that Enterprisey is the king of technical expertise and assistance. [1][2][3] Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 12:55, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, will take a look. --Elonka 01:43, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- UTBC: I did carefully consider my position on this, but have not changed my mind, especially because Enterprisey was informed about these concerns years ago, but has not sought to address them. If Enterprisey really wants to become an arbitrator, and does not make it on this round, then I hope Enterprisey will seek to become a more well-rounded Wikipedian before trying again. --Elonka 06:25, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, I was not campaigning. I just happened to be going over the guides and noticed that Izno's mentioned bots but Enterprisey's didn't. I wanted to give you a heads up in case the inconsistency was because you were not very familiar with Enterprisey's work. I see that that was not the case. Whether Enterprisey would be a good arb or what your guide should say are not the things I would presume to suggest. Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 08:38, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
Featured stuff
[edit]We're not electing folks to create featured content, but since you mention it - I did once stumble into a Featured List nomination credit under my previous username Bazj (talk · contribs) - Special:Permalink/375510811#List of Watford F.C. seasons. Thanks for your work on a guide. Cabayi (talk) 20:32, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will take a look! --Elonka 01:43, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- Cabayi: Thanks for pointing things out, I did dig in and take a look, both at your edits to the list, and your participation at the FL nom. As you'll probably agree, your participation there was fairly minor, though your edits of course are appreciated! As for your comment about "We're not electing folks to create featured content", this is of greater concern to me. Your statement is of course accurate, but I would argue that some familiarity with creating featured content is preferable, because it is directly related to the purpose for the entire project: Providing high quality content. I would hope that all arbitrators keep this firmly in mind: We're not just here as an online community, we're here with a shared goal. So (most) Arb cases should be decided with that goal in mind. --Elonka 06:22, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
