Speedy deletion of Richard Cannon
[edit]A tag has been placed on Richard Cannon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Richard Cannon, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Pontificalibus (talk) 21:55, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi there Elijah, I hope you're doing well. I see on this article that you've been reverting everyone who come to tag the article with necessary templates that (clearly) apply to the article. You have just reverted @Kingsmasher678's notability tagging and my own refimprove tagging. This is not a good thing you're doing because this article truly has issues. You have been reverting everyone without explanations. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 23:00, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- I also took a look at your contributions, and they are related primarily or entirely with the subject, or things adjacent to it. It may be worth taking a look at our conflict of interest policy, and seeing if it applies to you.
- Thanks, Kingsmasher678 (talk) 23:04, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- You haven’t pointed out specific issues with the article. Elijah1979 (talk) 23:35, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- I just did, in the deletion discussion which is ongoing here. Kingsmasher678 (talk) 23:45, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- I was there and again, you didn’t reference any specific parts of the article that could be updated Elijah1979 (talk) 23:48, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- The entire article is on something that I don't believe deserves an article. That is my problem with it. Though not required, I would also appreciate a response to my question about a conflict of interest.

I am going to need an answer about the COI question.
[edit]You have created and maintained articles exclusively related to Justin Cannon. Are you related to this subject, paid by him, a friend of his, or a member of his congeregation?
Kingsmasher678 (talk) 19:49, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Your engagement with my posts feels hostile. I am not paid for my edits by anyone. I will not engage with you further and ask you to consider your own motivations. Elijah1979 (talk) 21:22, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rainbow Christians
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rainbow Christians requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~Darth StabroTalk/Contribs 21:45, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
