What's the problem, There is nothing wrong with the edit, it is reasonably logicial.
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 04:35, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
The edit is not original, and is validated by citing the article itself for reference: [1]
Specifically the preceding sentence. "Sea lions evolved from the canines, splitting from the bear line after it split from other dogs."

[edit] Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Diamond and Silk. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. {{u|zchrykng}} {T|C}
