Re:Userpage
[edit]Hi Elaine. For information about Wikipedia's guidelines about userpages, see WP:USERPAGE, and more specifically, the section WP:UPNOT which describes what should not be on a userpage. In your case, the page I deleted appeared exclusively promotional, given the links to external websites that you had on there. See WP:UP#PROMO. The awards section, which was also unrelated to Wikipedia, also pushed it in the promotional direction. Your userpage now is definitely closer to the Userpage guidelines, but also be aware of WP:USERBIO, which notes that "Inappropriate or excessive personal information unrelated to Wikipedia." is inappropriate content for a userpage.
