Sorry! I did not mean to vandalize the Ed, Edd n Eddy article. As soon as I realized that the show was not ending on April 27, I reverted my own edits. I did not mean to add nonfactual information to Wikipeda.
Sincerely,
Baseballmes 00:06, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Hey, um, why did you delete the 'Fandom' section I wrote? The fans are the only reason the show got renewed and I was not talking about fansites as I was actually just making a point that EEnE has a very active base. And plus, I did not get the letter-writing section of the paragraph from fansites. I got it from an interview with Erin Fitzgerald on 12 June, 2007 on musicplusTV.
An apology
[edit]I would like to apoligize for that incident on User:DietLimeCola's talk page. I never meant to call you or the IPs vandals. If you reread my comment, you can see that I was not trying to make any accusations about you (look at the word could). I also like to apoligize for my other comments. They were not intended to be snide or hateful in any way. For some reason, I feel that this is not enough of an apology. Squirepants101 01:49, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's plenty. I am going to take a Wikibreak, at least from this article, to let things settle out. Apology accepted, I would like to apologize to you for being intolerant. -- Elaich 02:25, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Assistance for Cartoon Network Wikiproject
[edit]Due to Driveus leaving for other places, I need a second-in-command in a sense to assist me with deciding the general direction of the project. Might not be necessary but few people attached are doing much and would like more input about what we should be doing so having more people giving feedback would be better than two voices talking in isolation. --treelo talk 20:33, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

There is a Mr. Sun!
[edit]I got something on my talk page that said "There is no Mr. Sun". But there IS a Mr. Sun, he talks to Jimmy, and I can prove it! If anyone watched the episode "The Ed's are Coming", you'll see Mr. Sun. I even have a screenshot, here you go! img341.imagesha ck.us/img341/4246/mrsunym4.png I proved you wrong, now what do you have to say about THAT Mr. Editor? [edit]I'm curious as to why you tagged this article for cleanup. I don't see anything wrong with it. If you are going to tag with the generic cleanup tag, then you should explain your reasons on the talk page, or use a more specific tag. -- Elaich talk 18:03, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest you read it - a whole host of mashed together comments with no refereces, that's inherently POV and has limited encyclopedic content/not written in an encyclopedic manner. Episode articles

- Please don't bring back anymore episodes. They will never be able to meet the guideline, so there is no reason to leave a summary and junk. TTN 19:06, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- I give up. My intent was to cleanup the entire thing, with links to episodes that could contain more info than the Wikitable. The Wikitable is a mess. Hereis what I planned to duplicate. I don't see anything wrong with that, and there is nobody yelling that it needs to be merged. It seems about half the people who edit Wikipedia really care about the content of articles, and the other half exist here only to Netkopp. Fine. Have it your way. -- Elaich talk 20:07, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Good work on sorting links and pages. Don't worry about AfD: generally, these sorts of episode pages get redirected rather than deleted. You are right to avoid separate pages for episodes: Wikipedia consensus is that episode pages should only be created for notable episodes (ie. A programme or series might be notable, but that doesn't mean every episode is). See the episode notability guideline. People often create pages enthusiastically, unaware of such guidelines. Many of those Frasier ones you link are probably unnotable also, and will undoubtedly be reviewed at some point. I understand your concern about unwieldy episode list pages: there is often enough notable information for more than a table. User:Bignole is working on a pattern for season pages. Have a word with him if you want some suggestions. Also have a look at Episode coverage taskforce. Hope this helps. Gwinva 15:06, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Ed, Edd and Eddy
[edit]If a show is produced in Canada by a Canadian production company, then it's a Canadian show that belongs in Canadian show categories. And according to the talk page, you're the only person on Wikipedia who's ever stated otherwise; the opinion of one person does not count as a definitive consensus that would make the tone you adopted on my talk page remotely appropriate. Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. Daniel Case 04:37, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
I did. Regardless, policy says you have to put them through the full cycle of warnings, or if they're a sock or suspected sock explain why (and possibly link to evidence). I am not about to issue a block to an account with no warnings of any kind since May without more explanation, even if it has already been coming off a month block.
Another problem for an investigating administrator: he has been making legitimate, or at least superficially legitimate, edits as well. I found the blanking, but it's not enough at the moment to justify a fresh block.
At the least, though, I'll give him a delete warning. Daniel Case 05:10, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

The "Google Groups" paragraph on this article doesn't seem to comply with WP:NPOV, and the reference certainly is not a WP:RS. Instead of repeatedly inserting the section despite comments from other editors, let's discuss it on the Talk Page. Since the reference is weak, instead of charging others with finding your references after reinstating the OR, provide some more that pass the RS tests. Note: repeatedly ignoring other editors and reinstating the material could be viewed as vandalism or link-spamming. That's not a warning, just a friendly reminder to assume good faith on the part of others and consider their concerns. Perhaps the section could be elaborated with discussion of DejaNews before Google ... of course, with a NPOV. ;) David Spalding (☎ ✉ ✍) 15:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Ed, Edd n Eddy
[edit]Sorry about that. The IP is a known vandal who makes all sorts of strange edits. Usually messing up dates on TV shows. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 03:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Last aired date of Ed, Edd n Eddy
[edit]I agree. I don't think most of these are vandalism; editors who know that the show is still on television are confused when they see an end date for the show. I left a little invisible note that will only show in the article when it's being edited to not change the date. Hopefully that will help. GlassCobra 03:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Most people are adding that date because of the Ed's cameo in The Grim Adventures of the Kids Next Door, which aired on November 11th. However, for whatever reason, they're considering it an actual episode (probably because that 16 seconds was actually done by AKA Cartoon). You can see for yourself here: [1]. Either way, it's not an actual episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy. It's not even canon. DietLimeCola 04:32, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think any of that was canon. Actually, I thought the whole crossover was pretty dumb. GlassCobra 06:11, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Jim Staggs
[edit]All material in the article as orginally written was based on the source material cited in the article.
What are your sources for the date of Staggs' transfer from KYW to WCFL? The Chicago Sun-Times obituary on Staggs definitively lists Staggs as moving to WCFL in 1963. Note that the radio disc jockey extensive quoted in the obituary, Terri Hemmert, is a noted authority and Beatles expert.
Do you have a source for the exact date of the transition of WCFL's format to Top 40? (Wikipedia's article on WCFL states that the transition took place in 1965. So, therefore, isn't it possible that Staggs, who apprarently became very close to the Beatles on the tours, provided reports on both KYW (1964 and, possibly, 1965) and WCFL (possibly 1965, definitely 1966). If he didn't cover the Beatles on WCFL, how do you explain how so many people in Chicago, as evidenced in the obituaries cited, remember him doing so? Or, why would he write a piece for the Chicago Sun Times.
I also take umbrage at your labeling my carefully researched article as being "ridiculous." I thought the spirit of wikipedia was one of collaboration. What can you add to the article? Ggosselink (talk • contribs) 06:58, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Not a case of wishful thinking by me...simply my best attempt to coalesce information from differing sources. Again, I'm not sure why you feel you have to put me down when all I am trying to do is get the information correct. What have you contributed?By the way, since I was born in 1968, I would have no way of being able to personally verify the dates of the WCFL format change. Ggosselink (talk • contribs) 07:41, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Also, please note that The Beatles coverage is listed in a separate section. All references to the coverage airing on specific stations has been eliminated. Stagg's coverage of The Beatles, the most influential rock band, is one of the reasons why he is a notable figure. So please do not delete this whole section again. Thanks. Ggosselink (talk) 07:52, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
I meant that you had not contributed anything to this particular article. How about adding something from his KYW years? Ggosselink (talk) 08:04, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
And which part of The Beatles section is incorrect, especially now that I have pulled out any references to specific radio stations in this section? And why would I vandalize a page I have worked so hard to create?Ggosselink (talk) 08:12, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Looney Tunes on TV
[edit]A few days ago, Agtaz proposed that an individual article concerning the Looney Tunes television broadcast history be created. The proposal has produced a fairly intense response, so research and development are currently underway. However, I wanted the discussion to spread out, so that consensus could be reached among interested wikipedians. Given that some of your contributions are to animated television shows, I was pretty sure you'd be helpful in this case. Any questions? Ideas? Suggestions? You are welcome to drop me a line and participate in the discussion. Feedback is apperciated. — Cinemaniac (talk) 20:24, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Kankersisters.JPG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Kankersisters.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:22, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Happy New Year, Agtax! Though you usually contribute to EEnE, I thought I could ask for your help and advice outside of that. I've submitted two articles for peer review, and thought that you might like to critique them:
- Duck Soup. I've listed this article for peer review because, even though I and other editors have contributed much information and references, I'm certain that there are other aspects of this classic film that have yet to be covered. I'd like to hear feedback from you, so that I can get help in improving this (and other Marx Brothers films) quality.
- Princess Leia Organa. I've listed this article for peer review because it right now seems oddly cluttered and, despite a lot of references as of now, lacks reliable source citations. Although I've already requested another peer review, as long as it helps the articles get better, I've got the time. Comments and suggestions are appreciated, as this should help me in expanding other Star Wars-centric articles.
If you have the time, it'd be great if you could look over those two articles and assess their flaws and weaknesses. Thanks, and, again, a Happy New Year to you! — Cinemaniac (talk • contribs) 04:13, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Im not quite sure where to put this, but I think that the wikipedia 'reception' article for FFIX is misleading. The music is portrayed as bad when in reality it is praised highly by Core Magazine, Gamepro, Gaming Age, Netjak and many more. http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/psx/finalfantasy9?q=Final%20Fantasy%20IX Also, the article says that much of the music was reused from previous Final Fantasys. This is a lie. There are only one or two tracks that are reused. I hope that correct information will be put on that page as soon as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.85.132 (talk) 18:40, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I must tell you that I completely sympathize with what you're going through. The beuracracy, the counter productiveness, the trolls, the idiocy, the lunacy of it all. In many ways, your work, and your criticisms remind me of me on Wikipedia. I don't edit many articles (mostly just a Wikignome), but I have a handful I defend and watch like children. If I go, those articles don't stand a chance. The same with your articles. We all suffer, and grow increasingly tired of the work here -- it truly seems never endless at times. But if we hang tough, it will get better.

Movie
[edit]- Yeah it's going to be a disaster. The other Cartoon Network movie articles had things like poorly written essays of everything that happened with countless typos (like "someone coughs and walked three steps to the left, then he said "Hello" and the other person said "Hello" back"....)and grammar errors, quotes, and trivia. It's going to get messy, but we should think of a plan so we're prepared when that happens. Theres a few things that I question though. 1. Does it deserve it's own article? 2. A rumor states (and I'm not 100% either) that we'll see whats under Double D's hat, and Eddy's Brother will appear. Would these warrant mention on the characters page, or in the article/section of the movie itself, as well as any other big parts of character development? (theres supposed to be lots). Also, thanks for getting the movie page protected from re-creation. I got it deleted before through AFD, but I had no idea that people kept on making it over and over again. Misleading Edits
[edit]It was a joke to see how changing the n to a b would change the article, just as a small joke to get the people throughout the day. My Wikipedia username was Tjleo23 056 but somebody hacked the account or I didn't sign out, and it got blocked, so my new one is Tjleo209 014. You can leave me a message on my talk. Thank you. Sorry for any inconvienience. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.218.118.6 (talk) 09:59, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Question
[edit]Elaich. I was wondering, what do you mean when you say that the original Ed, Edd n Eddy run is over? <—Preceding unsigned comment added by Godzillastar (talk • contribs) 17:13, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- That there is one Greg Jungwirth a.k.a Claymort, our friend who reminds me of MascotGuy but obviously not. A sockpuppetry case has been opened so by the time you get this he may already be blocked. --treelo talk 02:47, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:UNC Tarheels
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:UNC Tarheels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 20:50, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Komodo Lover sockpuppet suspects awaiting RFCU
[edit]After what seems to be quite a while and a bunch of edits inbetween, the list of unconfirmed usernames and IP addresses that are listed at the LTV page has grown to a point where a checkuser for these accounts might be necessary. If you want to co-ordinate a case together with me and others then you may create or continue the conversation at the LTV talkpage if one doesn't exist already. treelo talk 02:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

- Oh, yeah! I remember him! In fact, I think he's given some Ed, Edd n Eddy pages quite a bit of trouble recently [4]. Cinemaniac (talk • contribs • critique) 03:26, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
