Shining Path

[edit]

The term totalitarianism is a concept referring to regimes, not movements. Please do not reinsert the tag. Maglev Power (talk) 01:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your report on WP:AIV moved to ANI

[edit]

I moved your report about WikiProject tag removal from the Vandalism notice board to the Incident noticeboard — WP:ANI. — ERcheck (talk) 01:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is good that you made a report rather than start an edit war. For your information: For en-Wiki definition of vandalism, see Wikipedia:Vandalism. The Incident noticeboard (WP:ANI) is a place to report issues that are immediate, but are not vandalism. For longer term issues, the Administrators' noticeboard (WP:AN) is available. For more information on how to handle disputes, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. — ERcheck (talk) 01:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Peru

I saw your discussion on the Shining Path article. You might be interested in checking out Wikiproject Peru, a wikiproject dedicated to improving Peru-related articles. Thanks.--Jersey Devil (talk) 05:29, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ok

[edit]

sorry i was just trying to keep it in consistancy with the other articles. Crystalclearchanges (talk) 22:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

however... i think that the reason for the great number of hits for those items is not because of what we are talking about. Afro-peruvian would imply a mix of the two ethnic backgrounds. African Peruvian would be someone of African descent living in Peru, and Peruvian African would we someone of Peruvian descent living in Africa. Afro-Peruvian also describes the political relationship between the two countries. Therefore, I wouldn't be sure that all those google returns necessarily mean what you think. March 2008

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Condoleezza Rice, you will be blocked from editing. Hut 8.5 10:06, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JDC

[edit]

I don't know if you are in favor or against Fujimori, but the truth is that he is a radical. His party membership, his radical speeches and a good look at most of his comrades can tell you that. Messhermit (talk) 20:52, 27 May 2008 (UTC) Regarding the rest, it's all POV. There has being a long discussion regarding if Fujimori was a dictator or not and as you can see, he is not. So stop adding that category to his article. Messhermit (talk) 20:52, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello ElPeruano! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 448 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Nicolás Hermoza Ríos - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Santiago Martín Rivas - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  3. Henry Pease (Peruvian politician) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on Malta Polar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here.  —Waldhorn (talk) 06:42, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
