Fatsuma Talba moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Fatsuma Talba, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Saminu Dorayi moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Saminu Dorayi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 15:59, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Germanic languages, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Austronesier (talk) 11:21, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Adam Disina
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adam Disina, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. luis. 💬 16:58, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.Deb (talk) 17:19, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Mirrors
[edit] Thanks for contributing to the article Lagos Island. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Mirrors, again
[edit]El-hussain14, per our previous conversation, please carefully evaluate the sources you are adding to articles. You've again used several very, very clear Wikipedia mirrors as sources. At Agaie, you added 'placeandsee' which notes 'Text taken from Wikipedia'. At Endurance (crater), you added 'dbpedia' notes 'This content was extracted from Wikipedia'. At Fourth Nigerian Republic, you added 'wikiwand' notes 'From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia'. Please read the sources you are adding. Sam Kuru (talk) 13:31, 1 July 2023 (UTC)

Recent inappropriate (or at least unexplained) edits
[edit]Could you clarify the basis for your recent edits? I see a ton of places you added {{DEFAULTSORT}} as an article's own title. That is against the guideline for how to use that tag. I also see lots of places you added a category that is the parent-category of an existing category. That is against the guideline for how to use categories. I also do not see any edit summaries. That means nobody knows what you are trying to accomplish, and is therefore disruptive and wastes other editors' time. Please stop and explain so you can make sure you are following out guidelines, and potentially consider undoing any edits that are not correct. DMacks (talk) 16:08, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
