Late Cambrian (band) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Late Cambrian (band). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Annh07 (talk) 14:00, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback! I have a lot more links to interviews/reviews for sources, but didn't have enough time to really put all of it together (including more of the band's history)... just wanted to get a start on creating the page, so I'll keep working on it in drafts and submit when it's ready. - I believe that I'm being prejudiced against by the Wiki editors who are casually reviewing the work I've done and declining this page as not having reliable sources. I am up to 25 references now, and I've seen multiple band pages that have been accepted to Wikipedia with similar sources, bands that are newer, have less records released and less other projects cited as why they deserve to be mentioned on Wikipedia. Please advise because I'm ready to go to higher-ups about this. Edouglasww (talk) 08:38, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
Caution
[edit]Please read WP:SCAM. Wikipedia is the #7 website in the the world with tens of billions of pageviews per month, and every word you write anywhere on Wikipedia is public. Scammers are constantly using sophisticated automated search techniques looking for people like you who are trying hard to get a Wikipedia article accepted, in the hope of separating them from their money. Please be very careful. Cullen328 (talk) 08:44, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. Fortunately, this is an indie band who probably couldn't afford the money they were asking for. I've been doing my work as a fan of the band who is puzzled why they don't have a presence on here despite their association with other known acts that have Wikipedia pages. The reason I've been putting all this work in is because I have friends who I tell about the band, and the very first thing they do is go to Wikipedia trying to find more information... and there isn't even a basic page that other bands have been given. It just seems unfair and ridiculous. Edouglasww (talk) 08:47, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
