Unblock
[edit]Edit5001 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I meant to appeal the topic ban before commenting on other topics. I realize my mistake. Many of the topics I commented on were not directly linked to race or US politics. I made constructive edits on the articles I visited and politely explained my edits to those on Talk pages to attempt to reach consensus. I am as here to build an encyclopedia as the people who responded to my edits with their opinions are. In almost all cases, I've indeed been the one insisting on following Wikipedia policies. I stick to reliable sources and do not insert my own opinions into any Wikipedia pages. Edit5001 (talk) 11:33, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You say that you meant to appeal your topic ban, but you did not actually appeal it - it was still in force. A significant proportion of your editing since the ban has been in direct violation of it. I would suggest you wait a decent period of time (see WP:SO) before making another unblock request; if and when you make any such request, it would help your case if you suggest some entirely uncontroversial areas that you are interested in editing, which would allow you to build up experience and a track record of editing constructively, before appealing your TBan. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
