Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 16:25, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wikipedia, I am Nikhil the owner of Ecobask.
I read your message. So I want to tell you something about that. that
Whatever I have edited in the article is true. I did not do any kind of copy paste work at that place. But if you say so, I will try to Improve My Article Writing Skills.

Adding unsourced commentary

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:54, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bangalore‎, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:43, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Ahmedabad, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. —Bruce1eetalk 17:43, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Nick Moyes (talk) 19:39, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Wikipedia I am Nikhil the owner of Ecobask
I apologize for the link to my website that I added to Wikipedia yesterday. I will never make that mistake again. Please forgive me. Ecobask (talk) 06:41, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello I am Nikhil owner of Ecobask
I have edited hundreds of articles on Wikipedia since last few days. And I edited similar articles that needed to be changed. But later a link to a website was added by me in an article. And my account was blocked. I didn't know that adding a link leads to account blocking. Now I know this. So please unblock my account. I won't make that mistake again. And as you said I have put a request to change my username. That too will change. Once the account is up, I guarantee that Wikipedia will be well-supported in writing articles and editing information. Ecobask (talk) 14:42, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
100's of articles? Not with this account you haven't. Please list all the other accounts you have used. If you are editing while not logged in, you are still evading your block. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:15, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ecobask. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:12, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Does that mean my account is unblocked now? Ecobask (talk) 17:39, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
