Mistake in creating redirects on 18 Nov 2022
In looking at the redirects you had recently created on 18 Nov 2022 per {{R to section}} to R. F. Kuang#Babel, I just discovered that 2 of the 3 redirects are correct but the third appears to be a mistake when trying to create a TALK page. I believe that the cause of the mistake is that the author's NY Times best selling 2022 novel has an unusually long title with a multitude of punctuation marks which can make things very easy to screw up. Can you help correct this error? Below are some links that would show how the book is titled:
Please let me know if you requre additional information concerning this problem. -- 50.231.49.42 (talk) 01:10, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know! It appears to be a problem with the script we use to review redirect/category submissions. I noticed it the other day, but thought I fixed it all. I can’t work on it now, as I am currently busy, but I will do it when I return home. Thanks, echidnaLives - talk - edits 01:29, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- No problems. Take as much time as you need so you can perform the job correctly. I know that some Wikipedia scripts sometimes misinterprets certain punctuation marks as commands which make things very difficult when troubleshooting strange problem cases, which the the long book title may create. -- 50.231.49.42 (talk) 01:59, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. It looks like the issue is now resolved. Thanks again for letting me know, and if you have any further issues don't hesitate to ask! echidnaLives - talk - edits 05:39, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Good job! The only thing left to be done is to delete the two pages that the script accidentally created when it "went rogue" on this edge case, namely: Babel, or The Necessity of Violence talk: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution and Talk:Babel, or The Necessity of Violence talk: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution (both pages contain the extra word "talk"). Thanks again. -- 50.231.49.42 (talk) 01:16, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- I have nominated the 2 pages for deletion, all they need is a sysop to come and delete it. Thanks for letting me know, echidnaLives - talk - edits 01:22, 22 November 2022 (UTC).

Unreviewed NCOR (disambiguation)
Hi. I unreviewed NCOR (disambiguation), which is a disambiguation page you marked as reviewed. My reasons for doing so are: 1) There are only two entries, one of which is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC (see WP:ONEOTHER); 2) the other entry was a link to the draftspace; 3) the page did not follow MOS:DAB. Regards. Bennv123 (talk) 22:24, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Bennv123 Apologies. I've clearly made a mistake, so thanks for letting me know. I will keep this in mind when reviewing disambiguation pages in the future. echidnaLives - talk - edits 22:29, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- No worries. I found and added two entries that seem appropriate, so the page seems fine to remain as a DAB now imo. But I'll leave the reviewing to you or another editor. Bennv123 (talk) 22:38, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

Lowercase TLS
This is not the correct place to request new redirects. Please follow the instructions at Articles for creation/Wizard-Redirects. Thank you.
What are you talking about? Please review the uppercase versions of these pages, e.g. Wikipedia:TLAs from YAA to ZZZ. I'm not requesting redirects: I'm requesting a single page listing links to all lowercase three-letter combinations in a certain range. 175.39.61.121 (talk) 03:20, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. This is still unnecessary though. They are the exact same thing, just different capitalisation. Why would this be needed on top of the existing pages? echidnaLives - talk - edits 03:22, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Because they're completely different titles. Aside from an initial letter, all letters in a title are case-sensitive; thus my recent proposal that you accepted, Leawarra station, does not cause Leawarra Station or LEAWARRA STATION to exist. Why do you have a problem with lowercase but not with uppercase? 175.39.61.121 (talk) 03:32, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- I don't really understand your argument. The links on both pages are the same, are they not? Why do we need 2 of the exact same pages, linking to the exact same things? echidnaLives - talk - edits 03:42, 27 November 2022 (UTC).

Robin Adams (Scottish musician) declined
Hi there,
I'm just getting in touch regarding the above article which was declined which is fully understandable given the comments from S0091. My suggestion is that article Robin Adams (Scottish musician) is removed, to save any further confusion, since this article was created by a now locked down account.
As you can see by S0091's comment, there was no intended deception and rather a simple mistake.
Now it appears the fact there are two articles is getting in the way of one article being published. It makes sense to me
to put the article under one name, that being the active account holder's article.
Best,
Robinlewisadams 1 (talk) 10:17, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey @Robinlewisadams 1. Thanks for only using the one account! I will submit it for speedy deletion, and it should be removed soon.
- Thanks, echidnaLives - talk - edits 10:22, 27 November 2022 (UTC).
- Many thanks for your help.
- Robinlewisadams 1 (talk) 10:29, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey EchidnaLives,
- Now that Robin Adams (Scottish musician) is
- in speedy deletion, is it acceptable for me to resubmit the article Robin Adams (Musician)?
- The issue with it before was that it didn't contain enough credible references.
- Now it has references showing both positive and negative reviews from Major publications
- including a few that are on the WikiProject Albums/Sources.
- There are also two published wikipedia articles which refer to the submitted article:
- As a band member of a notable band - String Driven Thing
- And as the creator of a notable project - Refugees (Various artists)
- Many thanks

- Hello,
- I would recommend adding a few more sources, just to prove notability. Article's looking good though!
- Thanks, echidnaLives - talk - edits 11:10, 27 November 2022 (UTC).
- Hey EchidnaLives,
- I have some more sources from the specified Wikiproject Album/Sources although these sources are from a physical publication from 2011 and not available online. I am slightly confused as to how to include these sources effectively. Might you be able to guide me to another wikipedia article which has done used a physical review as a source.
- Many thanks
- Robinlewisadams 1 (talk) 11:55, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hello EchidnaLives,
- Thank you for your suggestions.
- I've resubmitted the article but this time I have included more sources.
- The article now contains sources directly related to the article's subject from
- Q Magazine, Clash, The Skinny, Pitchfork, Folk Radio Guitarist and more.
- As well as this as mentioned previously, the subject of the article is mentioned in two published wikipedia articles.
- I hope all this will suffice in having the article published.
- Sincere thanks for your advice and time,
- Robinlewisadams 1 (talk) 15:39, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
