5 Million: We celebrate your contribution
We couldn't have done it without you | |
Well, maybe. But the encyclopedia would not be as good. Celebrate |
- Thanks so much! Gracious, it's hard to believe there are now 5,000,000 articles on Wikipedia. This could not have come at a better time. I'm kind of getting a singular lack of appreciation at a Wikia where I frequently contribute. This reassures me that there are those who can give encouragement as well as criticism, doncha know. Again, much gratitude for this, and onward and upward! :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Repel All Boarders ‖ 18:10, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Doctor Who regeneration order
Hi. I noticed that you reverted my edits that restored the original order of the Doctor's regenerations. The list was in that order as that showed the canonical order of his regenerations in line with his personal timeline, which is what the series follows. The list also showed what number each incarnation was in the cycle as the numbers get a bit mixed due to the inclusion of the War Doctor and the two regenerations of the Tenth Doctor. Please explain your reasoning behind your edits. Thanks. – Nick Mitchell 98 talk 02:19, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
@AlexTheWhovian
- Not sure why I was pinged, but Nick has a point. Events that occur in-universe should be listed in chronological order as they happened in-universe (such as this), and real-life events should be listed in chronological order as they happened in real-life (e.g. a new actor taking over the lead role). This case falls under the former. Alex|The|Whovian 02:27, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
- I pinged Alex as I needed a third party to give their opinion, and from what I have seen, Alex is quite knowledgeable about Doctor Who. I will make the edits now, and if anybody has any concerns, they can return here for further discussion. – Nick Mitchell 98 talk 06:04, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Pop ups?
I think you have a virus on your computer that is causing so many links to appear. You have been reverting many edits using the excuse "using popups", admittedly I did not go through all of them, but I haven't found a single one that used any sort of script. Sure, some of them needed reverted for other reasons, but not the reason you gave. Undo if you want. Leave the reason blank if you want. Hi there. I am an event manager at The Ribault Club on Fort George Island, FL. The Wikipedia articled entitled "Ribault Inn Club" has autogenerated a Facebook page about our venue. We have a verified Facebook Page "The Ribault Club" but the unofficial auto-generated site "Ribault Inn Club" is causing confusion and detracting from our main site. In case you're wondering
I maintain complete lists of all NR sites in Notepad format on my hard drive: site name and location, plus little indicators for NHLs and sites that I've photographed. Over the past year, I've slowly been adding coords to these files, and since I downloaded the data for these files several years ago, discrepancies between my lists and the current List of RHPs in Place lists allow me to check for incorrect names in the online lists. Hi E. Your D84 mention brought back the following memory. Back in the late 80s I went to see Gregory de Polnay, Billie Whitelaw and another gentleman (whose name has disappeared from my memory banks) perform a series of readings at the theater on the Denver University campus. 'Appam' edits
The 'Appam' page has a lot of religious connotations which were added after the recent announcement by Google to name its upcoming Android version after an Indian delicacy. This looks like a concerted effort from a community to associate this dish (Appam in general and Neyyappam in particular) to associate it with a particular community, which is totally unacceptable. This so-called historian named Achaya make a lot of such claims that are baseless. Please don;t take that as the be-all and end-all of the food history of India. I am removing those religious connotations again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiguywho (talk • contribs) 07:38, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- Do not remove sourced content. If you disagree with what is present, provide reliable sources to refute it. Also, discuss your changes on the article talk page, not on user pages. Continuing to remove sourced content will likely get you blocked. And if you are the IP 129.137.165.248 or associated with them, that is considered sockpuppetry and/or meatpuppetry, which can also get you blocked. Thank you. --‖ Ebyabe talk - State of the Union ‖ 07:43, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

- Please report your concerns to the appropriate noticeboard. Probably the edit-warring one. Thanks. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites ‖ 18:47, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Kevin Sorbo Mythica Godslayer
Hi, Ebyabe, just to inform you, the Godslayer film is in post-production, and its Kickstarter fully funded (even having 10 days left now). Thanks!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5327922/?ref_=fn_al_tt_3
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arrowstorm/mythica-5-the-godslayer/?ref=Website
- Ok, then just add the kickstarter link as a ref, since imdb is not considered a reliable source. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Border Town ‖ 02:44, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
Sock of Who R U?
Hi No disrespect intended but I took the liberty of reverting and marking as vandalism three edits by yet another sock of User:Who R U?. Regards, Aloha27 talk 12:13, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Aloha27: I appreciate your help. I often wonder if vandals like that really think they are right and the rules don't apply to them, or they are just being a**h***s. Ultimately, the effect is the same. Cheers! --‖ Ebyabe talk - General Health ‖ 18:42, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
