Orphaned non-free image File:Eci Telecom Logo 2008-07-26.png
Thanks for uploading File:Eci Telecom Logo 2008-07-26.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Fair use rationale for File:Screenshot riffworks instantdrummer big.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Screenshot riffworks instantdrummer big.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Rescuing pages from deletion
Just dropping you a quick note to express my admiration for your whole approach vis-a-vis articles nominated for speedy deletion, etc. Indeed, I think I may pass articles that I would normally tag for WP:SPEEDY on to you for initial review in the future, rather than just going the deletion route outright (except in cases of obvious nonsense, etc.). Why not? Either way, good work! Ginsengbomb (talk) 17:21, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

The article MassiveGood has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable project.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TNXMan 20:46, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Your request at the spam blacklist talk page
Hello Eastmain. Recently you helped find references for a new article, and in connection with that you suggested that a certain link be removed from the local blacklist. There is a long and embarrassing story behind the blacklisting, which followed a heavy spam campaign that eventually led to a series of indefinite blocks. Checkusers helped find all the accounts responsible. A staff member of the institute appears to be involved. I was going to post a bunch of links, but this risks exposing the problem further. Would you be willing to consider withdrawing your request? Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 05:50, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind. I did not realize that per-article un-blacklisting was possible. Hu12's action seems to take care of it. EdJohnston (talk) 06:10, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- With regards to this, I've removed the text you added about Anil Rajvanshi. That individual is the person behind User:Akraj and related sockpuppets, and he has been using Wikipedia as his personal PR board for a long time. If we mention the achievements, we should be certain to avoid anything that rewards him for his abuse of the system. --Ckatzchatspy 07:34, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for correcting me re. the notability of TV stations. I'm not particularly well versed in the field - could you clarify for me what "licensed" means in this context, so I don't make the same mistake again? (FWIW I have a verifiability concern with this article too - the official site is blank and I'm seeing nothing much on Google to establish whether the thing exists - but that's another conversation). Gonzonoir (talk) 15:26, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- Notability of radio and television stations
- The guideline can be found at Wikipedia:Notability_(media)#Broadcast_media. A licensed station is one which has permission to broadcast from the appropriate government agency, such as the Federal Communications Commission in the United States or Ofcom in the United Kingdom. In some countries, very-low-power stations do not require a licence. I am not sure which agency in Indonesia is the broadcast regulator, but if you can find the agency, it may have a list of the country's broadcasting stations on its website. One difficulty in writing articles about radio and television stations is that the government may refer to a station by its callsign (WABC-TV, for example) or the name of the company, while the station may refer to itself by a marketing name (770 Top Radio, perhaps). - Eastmain (talk) 15:37, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- Great, thank you. I have found the Indonesian broadcast commissioner's site but will need some time to navigate it (my Indonesian is, er, patchy!). Meanwhile I've commented on the article talk page to see if anyone else can help. Gonzonoir (talk) 15:45, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your support on Northeast Kingdom Community Action. I think I have brought the article up to more than standard for retention. Doing so went well beyond my interest with it, but oh, well. In for a penny, in for a pound.
My problem is with User:Weaponbb7. Not sure why he targeted it in the first place. I admit that it wasn't obviously the biggest piece of government in Vermont, but it does serve three counties. And why are government agencies being targeted anyway? The last seems wrong IMO. Do you know of a standard someplace on government departments/agencies? Student7 (talk) 13:20, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Eastmain! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 197 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Deletions
A bit late, but thanks for supporting the decision to not delete Agnes of Anhalt-Dessau. I liked what you said, in particular: Many articles on people like Agnes of Anhalt-Dessau start out as if they were copied from a genealogy book. This fact shouldn't distract us from the possibility that notability by Wikipedia standards can be established, and should probably discourage us from tagging such an article for deletion without a careful search.
Some administrators are ever eager to delete new articles, especially when they're related to persons they may have some biases against (i.e. royalty and nobility). While I'll agree that there are some such articles that warrant deletion, the vast majority just need some further research to be proved notable, especially when those in their position most likely have accomplished things worth documenting. So, again, thanks for your actions preventing deletions when possible. Ruby2010 (talk) 23:42, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Re: Contested Speedy Delete of Newfoundland Island
I concur with the deprod of Ukasiksalik Island; I was thinking of removing it myself if no one else got to it first. But I still think that the Newfoundland Island disambiguation page is redundant; both options on it are already listed on the Newfoundland disambiguation page. I think you are probably right that it should not be deleted; I'm going to redirect it back to the Newfoundland page - that way anyone looking for Ukasiksalik under the alternate name will be able to find what they are looking for. (This all got started because a bot went through about two months ago and relinked a whole list of articles from Newfoundland (island) to Newfoundland Island, all of them incorrectly.Vulcan's Forge (talk) 02:39, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

comments on my talk page
Please stop posting on my page about active AfDs, it is approaching canvassing. LibStar (talk) 22:59, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- As you wish. The purpose of my message was to give you an opportunity to withdraw your AfD in light of the improvements to the article. - Eastmain (talk • contribs) 03:36, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- it would be safe to assume that all nominators watchover their AfDs. LibStar (talk) 03:41, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Along the same lines, I had a look at the Andre Staffelbach article and the sources you added, and switched over to Keep at the AFD. However, leaving me a message asking me to reconsider my comments mere minutes after I posted them is a bit hinky. It does edge a bit toward Canvassing, especially if you do not message all participants. Since the AFD is all of three hours old, it's a safe bet that the nominator and commentors will monitor its progress as the 7 days pass. If, despite additional sources, no one has reconsidered, a note at the AFD may be appropriate ("I added a bunch of sources, could the editors who commented before that please re-evaluate? kthx"). No problem, but you'll want to be more careful in the future - deletion debates can be touchy even before procedural and policy shenanigans are added in. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 20:26, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello Eastmain, you created the aforementioned article some 1½ years ago. Yet there's the much older article Academy of Learned Societies for the Social Sciences, too. Because of the similar names and because both articles link to the same website, I assume that it's actually the same academy. It seems to me that the older article's name is the correct one, though, and there's a lot more articles that link to it. So I'd propose to merge your article into the older one. Best regards, --Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 17:55, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, please merge them, and leave a redirect at Academy of Learned Societies in the Social Sciences. The reference in this article by David Blunkett appears to be incorrect. Companies House confirms that the current name is Academy of Social Sciences and the old name is THE ACADEMY OF LEARNED SOCIETIES FOR THE SOCIAL SCIENCES. http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/98b038f9c77f977ec30545392a0f3a2a/compdetails The name change was effective 5 July 2007. - Eastmain (talk • contribs) 18:05, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- All right then! I've never merged two articles, but considering the length of the articles, it doesn't appear to be too difficult a task. --Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 11:54, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Very often the problems are intermittent, or the author fixes them, or WP fixes them. Thank you for letting me know, I just try again the next time I visit the page... usually it works eventually. I just want the author to have a chance to fix it. Yes I do see sources which is why I decided it is not speediable. But I really do think those sources are just because one of their soldiers happened to die in action. I really do not think this is a notable soldier. We cannot have articles for every soldier who died in action. What next. Biographies of every trench soldier who died in World War I? This is no different... ‡ Himalayan ‡ ΨMonastery 19:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
The reason I ask is because if you think about it, is it likely that any sources would have covered this young soldier if he hadn't have been killed in action. A non-notable biography. I appreciate your translation efforts but if you cut down all the "condolences" and that "he was well liked" what are you left with? ‡ Himalayan ‡ ΨMonastery 20:14, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Its a duplicate article....
See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye. This is just a changed name for a film with an existing article. Indian film does that more often than not.... as well as having multiple films over multipe years in different languages all having the same names. Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye is just Hhey Gujju, but with a new name as production proceeds. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 22:20, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- In the interim, I have edited the HHey Gujju article to show its name change and a change in director. Moving the modified older article over the newer Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye would be the solution. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 19:47, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
United Kingdom nursing journals
Given that scientific journals nowadays are hardly ever really associated with one country (even if they are called "American Journal of...", "British Journal of...", etc.) it does not seem very useful to keep categorizing them according to country. Wedemeyer
I commend you for helping fix articles that face deletion, but I would like to point out that the speedy delete tag on the Wedemeyer page is due to the fact that he is a nobody. I am not against him. Give him time if you think he has potential to be a great guy and let him carve a name for himself before he merits a Wikipedia page. Otherwise, this will become a directory of every person employed somewhere or the other. Please do not remove the tag and I would appreciate it if you can discuss the issue here on your page as I am not logged in and probably get assigned a different IP address each time I get on the internet (I prefer not to be logged in when I place deletion tags simply to avoid bad blood - there is no bad intent on my part). Again, I commend you for fixing articles and trying to save them instead of deleting them, but this one really seems like a vanity article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.53.137.5 (talk) 17:55, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Deletion discussion: Brett King Help requested
Eastmain - I'm having a debate over this with talk over his stance on this article. He's citing a previous deletion as to why this article created over a year later should be deleted? In the meantime, the subject of the article has got some major press and has published a ground breaking book on banking. I think that warrants allowing this to play out rather than simply a deletion because the original deletion decision stood. He's citing conflict of interest and other stuff that is just not applicable here. Any suggestions? Can you weigh in on the discussion page? A map (which is all the Atlas of Canada link really was) doesn't, in and of itself, count as a principal source — as it proves absolutely nothing except the place's physical location, it can be a supplementary source after notability has already been established by other sources, but it can't demonstrate notability all by itself. And a walking tour page on a community website doesn't satisfy the requirement for independent sources. Bearcat (talk) 06:24, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- That's fine, as long as the article actually has real sources besides just a map and the local gardening committee. Far too often I see people insist that a badly written and unsourced article is perfectly acceptable on the grounds that the topic is "inherently notable" — but as long as Wikipedia's goal is to be an encyclopedia rather than a random graffiti wall, we really do have to insist on quality sources. Any named community is certainly valid as a potential article topic, but the resulting article still has to meet encyclopedic standards. Bearcat (talk) 06:42, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Good Music 107.5FM
A tag has been placed on Good Music 107.5FM requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. →James Kidd (contr/talk/email) 16:29, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

kfantransmittertour.co.cc and KFAN (AM)
Eastmain,
Back in December there was a request to whitelist kfantransmittertour.co.cc. You very helpfully indicated it was to be whitelisted. Today I attempted to re-link the two kfantransmittertour pages related to the request but wiki still has them blacklisted. Can you help? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.79.166.195 (talk) 22:11, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- The site http://kfantransmittertour.co.cc/ has been whitelisted, and the links have been added to KFAN (AM) Eastmain (talk • contribs) 03:39, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Eastmain, thanks for your help with this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.122.57.236 (talk) 01:09, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Positioning Animals Worldwide Article
Thank you for updating our article "Positioning Animals Worldwide". These edits really helped saving this page from deletion.
Just to let you know, that we want to make following addition into this article - 1. Paw Inc Logo 2. Reference link for SpotLight I-phone Application 3. Spotlightgps.com which is a Product website of PAW under External links
Please suggest can we go ahead and make these changes or do you think it will again come under radar of speedy deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Navdeeptrivedi (talk • contribs) 15:51, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- I suggest that you only add references from third-party reliable sources such as newspapers and magazines. If the iPhone application has been reviewed or mentioned in a reliable source, then Wikipedia editors would accept that as evidence of notability. A reliable source does not have to be available online, but should include the date of publication and the page number. I would only add the company's logo if you are making other changes at the same time. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 18:53, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Eastmain
To add spotlight iPhone application to the article can we use (http://blogs.newsobserver.com/business/find-fido-with-your-iphone) as reference link. Also it would be great if you can add PAW Inc logo(http://www.spotlightgps.com/Images/logo_paw.png) to the article.
Hello Eastmain,
I wanted to let you know that the company name for Positioning Animals Worldwide has been changed to Securus Inc. (www.securusgps.com).Can you please suggest what do we need to do to create the new article page of Securus Inc.

Fulton–Taylor House, Fulton-Taylor House
Re: your request at my talk page: Oops and apologies. I certainly meant to create that stub and not leave that redirect hanging out there. I guess I forgot what I was doing partway through. I've added a few references and made some formatting changes, but your stub certainly covered most of what I would put in a stub. Thanks! —Ipoellet (talk) 04:39, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Please do not leave condescending templates on my talk page. I am familiar with the speedy deletion criteria and do not need to reminded of it. I tagged Fulton-Taylor House for deletion on 18:41, 4 April 2010 because it was a redirect to a red link. You created Fulton–Taylor House on 23:21, 4 April 2010, more than three hours after I placed the speedy tag. Thus my tag was correct until you rectified the issue by creating the page. Cunard (talk) 05:15, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've added an example to my response at User talk:Cunard. I'm sorry that I was unnecessarily brusque with my comment to you above. You do impressive work here which I greatly admire and respect. Cunard (talk) 06:49, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Why the hell does it matter if it is in english or spanish! If you want you can find it in English. It is if Mexican culture, which only is based off it. Plus I know the recipe too...Ignorant person! Mm0502 (talk) 19:53, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Mm0502Mm0502 (talk) 19:53, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- This is what I wrote in the AfD: *Keep. This Google News search, filtered to show only English hits, shows many English-language hits in reliable sources. (Not that there is anything wrong with Spanish-language sources, but English-language ones are easier to work with.) Eastmain (talk • contribs) 20:36, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
RE: Your Speedy Deletion Contestion of Jatheon Technologies
Before I drop this issue as I stated I would on the article's talk page, I'd like to ask you about your motivations for keeping the article. It's obvious you like to keep everything on Wikipedia by what you state on your userpage, but the one-sentence explanation you wrote into the template-reply isn't quite enough to satisfy me.
You were aware that it has been shown that the primary contributor is directly affiliated with the company, correct? By your decision, am I now free to write a positive-sounding, promotional article about the company I work at, if I back it up with questionable sources that rehash press-relases? And when it's listed for deletion, can I then simply say hey, wait, I'll remove the spam and just shuffle some text around? Because if so, I'd like to get started right away, so that the company I work at may leverage the Google ranking of Wikipedia for its benefit.
You may keep any sarcasm you found, but I'm still curious as to whether you considered the identity of the primary contributor and the resulting conflict of interest. --Zabadab (Talk) @ 11:07, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- A conflict of interest is a problem to be recognized, but it is not in itself a reason to delete the article. If the company is notable, the article should be kept. If material in the article is inconsistent with a neutral point of view, the article should be fixed accordingly. But the fact that an article was created by someone with a conflict of interest is a warning, not an absolute disqualification. It might have been better if the contributor had submitted the page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation
- As for the company you work for, is it notable? Can you write the article in a way that is fair and NPOV?
- Sarcasm is best avoided at Wikipedia, as it is likely to be misunderstood. In general, placing a speedy tag on an article that has just survived an AfD is unlikely to get the result you wish. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 13:08, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Where does CSD says a7 doesn't apply to schools? Besides, this is more like an ad for a company, anyway. But I've listed it to AfD. Woogee (talk) 03:27, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Talk page stalker here. First line under the header at WP:CSD#A7: "An article about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant." Emphasis is mine. - DustFormsWords (talk) 03:32, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Whoops. I missed that. I had thought of putting a db-ad tag on it. :) Woogee (talk) 04:08, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong
A tag has been placed on Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Szzuk (talk) 21:49, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong
I have nominated Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Colorado Dimensional Signs
Thank you for your support.
The two main objections seem to be self promotion and notability.
It seems the keep / delete system is only for moderators.
However I point to the Wikideia Guidelines that others seem not to understand:
Notability requires verifiable evidence
The common theme in the notability guidelines is that there must be verifiable objective evidence that the subject has received significant attention by the world at large to support a claim of notability.
The evidence must show the topic has gained significant independent coverage or recognition, and that this was not a mere "flash in the pan", nor a result of promotional activity or indiscriminate publicity, nor is the topic unsuitable for any other reason. Sources of evidence include recognized peer reviewed publications, credible and authoritative books, reputable media sources, and other reliable sources generally.
Self-promotion and indiscriminate publicity
Publication in a reliable source is not always good evidence of notability:
Wikipedia is not a promotional medium. Self-promotion, paid material, autobiography, and product placement are not valid routes to an encyclopedia article. The barometer of notability is whether people independent of the topic itself (or of its manufacturer, creator, author, inventor, or vendor) have actually considered the topic notable enough that they have written and published non-trivial works of their own that focus upon it – without incentive, promotion, or other influence by people connected to the topic matter.
Neutral sources are also needed to guarantee a neutral article can be written —self-published sources cannot be assumed neutral; see Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for discussion of neutrality concerns of such sources. Even non-promotional self-published sources, like technical manuals that accompany a product, are still not evidence of notability as they do not measure the attention a subject has received by the world at large.
I have been over this time and time and as far as can be seen, meet all qualifying points.
Please rally support, or pass on to a higher order...

Saint-Martin, Laval, Quebec
Re Saint-Martin, Laval, Quebec, please read Chomedey, Quebec. Ville de Saint-Martin once was a city in its own right. The extends that you give may, or may not, reflect the extend of the former city. I doubt that the Saint Martin Station was located within the city limits. The name "Saint-Martin" is not in current usage as the name of any neighbourhood in Laval, Quebec. Your article needs to reflect the fact that this is a former city and research is needed to establish what were the former city limits. Peter Horn User talk 00:58, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Notability of government officials
Hi You pointed out that being a former president or PM for the same state is a proof of being 'notable'. So going by your logic then all the former Presidents, Prime ministers, Members of Legislatures must be 'notable personalities'? So, should we add ALL those formers to the list of notable personality section??

Removal of PROD from Harsh Snehanshu
Hello Eastmain, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Harsh Snehanshu has been removed. It was removed by Bwilkins with the following edit summary '(decline prod - although I'm not 100% convinced, the top-10 appears valid. AfD if desired)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Bwilkins before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:49, 3 May 2010 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages) 09:49, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
John Moultrie copyvioed article
Here's the two links that the article was copied from. It was pretty much a straight copyvio, so there isn't anything worth restoring; there's nothing to stub, and since even the title isn't worth saving, just start a new article. Feel free to recreate the article as a non-copyvio version, with an appropriate title, using the sources that were copied. This looks like the two sources that were used: [3] and [4]. Good luck! --Jayron32 01:03, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Image of Agyenim Boateng
{{help me}}
The image of agyenim boateng has disappeared from the wiki page. I have uploaded another image (agyenim2.jpg on the wikimedia commmons) What description do I need to put on the page regarding the license? Thanks
Legaleagle101 (talk) 21:22, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- it depends on if you have permision to upload it or not (under a creative commons licence), but if you made it, you can choose what licence you release it under. You can not "donate" it to wikipedia as it is not allowed. More information can be found on Commons or in the commons freenode channel Sophie 21:26, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
You wrote that speedy deletion criterion A7 does not apply to schools. I knew that, and I would like to point out that the criterion I tagged the article under was not A7. It was G11. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 19:17, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- I see you made the same mistake (declining a G11 as an invalid A7) with Sta. Elena High School, though the latter is salvageable. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 19:24, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
I have restored the tag to the The West End School as I think is appropriate where a CSD tag is removed in a clear case of error. --Mkativerata (talk) 19:26, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- In my view, it is better to salvage an article about a notable school or other subject with style issues than to delete it. In this case, I don't think G11 applied. I edited the article and I think it's better now. The references appear strong enough to show notability, even though it is only a middle school. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 22:30, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
