Congrats... You asked an awesome question in the Teahouse!
[edit]Hi! It's obvious you've put a lot of time and energy into the draft article about psychological effects. Thanks for doing that! And also for dropping by the Teahouse to ask a thoughtful question in advance of moving and linking to the article. That kind of attention and effort is going to make you a great editor. Keep it up!
Great Question Badge | |
Awarded to those who have asked a great question on the Teahouse Question Forum. There are no stupid questions, but some are excellent! Good questions are those that reflect serious curiosity about editing and help others learn. |

Your psychology idea
[edit]Hi,
You asked me for my thoughts on User:Earcanal/sandbox.
A couple of things to be aware of:
- Wikipedia does not accept "original research": WP:OR
- All statements in Wikipedia need to be cited (WP:V) to a reliable source WP:RS
In practice, this means that entries like "2 item auditory digit span. No general impairment of learning, comprehension and reasoning." or "STM (impaired)/LTM (spared) distinct. STM as working memory." will only be accepted if a RS says that that's what the paper you're discussing said.
Also, you need to be aware of using green/ magenta for differentiating information; see WP:COLOUR.
I suggest you raise your idea on one or more of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Psychology, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Academic Journals, and Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals).
If, you get their agreement to proceed, each row of your table should be a templated entry; let me know if you need help with this. Otherwise, you could host the project on a wiki elsewhere, such as Wikia. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:47, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
